Sweet Haven Barn

My wife and I looked at a ton of venues around central Alberta and this was our last stop. We knew almost instantly that this was the place we wanted to get married at. Carl and Tanya were incredible to work with.They were on top of everything and keep the venue looking pristine. The guests raved about how beautiful Sweet Haven is too. We can’t thank them enough for making our wedding day incredible!

My husband & I got married here and I cannot say enough good things about not only the venue itself, but the owners, Carl & Tanya. Aside from being extremely professional, from the start they just felt like family. They are so easy to talk to & understanding. So organized, like any question I had - answered promptly & there every step of the way, no surprises. The venue itself was extremely clean & well kept. Worth every penny!

This place and its people, Tanya, Carl and Allison are literal magic. They made our day beautiful, easy to plan and were so kind and helpful. We could not have asked for anything more perfect or stunning. Would highly recommend for any wedding, gathering, etc. I can not rave enough about how amazing this place and it’s family is!

Myself and my bride chose to have our wedding at Sweet Haven Barn, it was truly an amazing experience. The venue is perfect, my wife loved their bridal suite, it made getting ready so easy, its a perfect place for photos and relaxation. This is one of the few venues we found that actually had an area for the guys as well, which was great for pictures and getting ready. We were able to get the venue the whole weekend, which made it simple to decorate, not that we needed to decorate much because the barn is so beautiful already. Our family and friends loved spending time out there and being there for more than just a half a day. We cannot say enough amazing things about Carl and Tanya, they made the experience one of a kind. They were always there to help out and we truly appreciate everything they did, from recommending vendors, showing us what to do and what has worked in the past to helping the day run smoothly. The venue also comes with their own decoration rental services, Kreativ Accents, run by their daughter Allison. Allison was wonderful to work with and was always smiling. She also did the girls make up and it was perfect. Their whole family was so friendly and welcoming to us, making the wedding process easy and less stressful. We cannot recommend this venue enough, they made our day so special!!!!

In love!!! This place is amazing, I loved every moment. I photographed many weddings here & this place is above average in ever way!!! All these photos were taken at the property! The owners are an absolute delight & wanted nothing more then to do anything they could for the bride & groom! I cant reccomend them enough!! They are the sweetest family

Finding the perfect wedding venue for the biggest day of your life is a near impossible task. Not so once you see Sweet Haven Barn, and meet the owners Tanya and Carl. We had numerous venues on our list to decide on, and there was no need to go past our second: Sweet Haven Barn. The Barn and adjoining property are idyllic, and the quality of the barn is self evident, there is not a more beautiful location. We loved that it was out of the city, away from the noise and people. It was very private. The Barn’s kitchen is stunning, and offers caterers a restaurant quality kitchen to work out of. More importantly, the proprietors bring a deep rooted care and concern for the success of your day, they become emotionally involved in your day’s success. There is not a higher recommendation we can give other than when you host your wedding at Sweet Haven, you are guaranteed a beautiful venue and owners invested in your success. Our guests raved about the venue and could not get over how beautiful it was. They loved that they could camp on-site for free! This made it more of a full weekend event. In the year and a half leading up to our wedding Tanya and Carl answered our dozens of questions extremely quickly and were so accommodating when we were considering postponing due to Covid. We used many of the vendor recommendations from Sweet Haven’s list and all were fantastic! They are picky about the vendors that they recommend and it shows! Tanya and Carl are special people- they truly make you feel like family. They had coffee ready to go for us on the wedding day and were so helpful when it came to giving tips for stringing lights, the barn layout, etc. The boys loved having a cigar in the ‘smoke shack’ and the girls and hair and makeup artists could not get over how beautiful the bridal suite was. It was the PERFECT day at the PERFECT venue. Thank you so much Tanya and Carl!!

Sweet Haven Barn and their owners Carl and Tanya made our big day perfect!Not only is the barn a stunning venue, but Carl and Tanya ensure every detail is exactly as it should be. They truly go above an beyond for the bride and groom. They made us feel like our wedding was truly important to them. They were involved, but they gave us our space as needed. The barn has everything you’ll need for your wedding. The kitchen is massive, and state of the art. The bridal suite was a gorgeous place to get ready in.I can’t speak highly enough of this venue. It’s absolution a must see!

My husband & I got married at Sweet Haven Barn and it was spectacular. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful and our guests loved it! The Owners Tanya & Carl are such lovely people and they were so helpful and accommodating throughout the whole planning process and on the actual day! We also worked with Allison Scheunert who was their on site Day of Coordinator who was excellent as well.Beyond the venue being absolutely spectacular, the service that Sweet Haven Barn provides is unmatched. We were able to come in 2 days early to get all of our decorations set up and Tanya, Carl & Allison helped us throughout that entire process. We really cannot recommend Sweet Haven Barn enough and would recommend it to anyone who is looking to get married or host a beautiful event!

Sweet Haven Barn is breathtaking. We just recently had our wedding there and it was a perfect day. Our guests were blown away by what a beautiful space they have and the pictures speak for themselves!Tanya and Carl are so passionate about making your day go as smoothly as possible and have created a space where that is possible. We spent our whole day there from getting ready until the DJ played his last song! You feel like you are in the most magical place with great views and tons of space. We also worked with Allison and her rental company out of Sweet Haven Barn and the decor she had fit our vision seamlessly.
