ICAR Mirabel - motorsports complex

Visited to test tires for Continental and had a blast. The staff / instructors were great. They spoke English and were very helpful in helping us push the tires to the max through high speeds, on different courses, and in wet or dry conditions. Our group had lots of fun and would visit again.The old airport is a pretty cool location and works well as a race track. The food was excellent and their chef is very talented. Across the parking lot there is a pretty creepy abandoned hotel that we dubbed 'Murder Hotel' and it totally earns it's name. I would recommend going and driving fast!

A carbon copy of the other listing for ICAR:To review the facility itself and not the event that was taking place (Volaria 2022). The location was pretty, easily accessible and was naturally the perfect host for an air show.Show line was spacious and offered all the different spectators a good location to view the air show from irregardless of what tier they paid for.Lots of space for parking and the facility overall was clean and surprisingly for a race track did fantastically at being unrecognisable as one in the moment.

Fun track. Was here for Mini Invasion day. Very well done. Very nice facility. It has more than enough sharp turns to put a smile on your face.

Purchased experience for my son. He had a blast. He experienced real turbo lag for the first time!! #awesomeness. He drove a Nissan GTR and a Lamborghini Gallardo. A taste of the rich and famous!!! I had also purchased the video and photograph package. Unfortunately the video system malfunctioned...it happens. However, when I approached the instructor to ask if there was a problem he informed me that the video was not possible. When I asked why, he replied in French, écouter moi madame". No apology and no explanation. Simply said he offered my son 2 extra laps

Exotic car experience is awesome !! Get at least 5 laps, it's worth every penny. Staff was really nice and Nicolas as a guide and copilot made an unforgettable ride !

Visited ICAR as guest of Continental Tire event. Most stations were great except one exotic car instructor and station leader. Had a subpar experience with one of the instructor that was manipulating the driving experience. It was our second round of driving and I was talked to like my first time operating a car. When i complain the station leader said it was due to my lack of skills which still can't explain why other instructor allowed me way more freedom (higher upshift rpm). I was not the only person complaining about the 3 complete difference experience from 3 different instructor. Which meant the common demoninator was the instructor and not the guest. Station was also disorganize that they park mustang pace car in front of guest heading out for driving expenerience. Which meant extra time waiting in the hot car for other driver and passenger to unbuckle their 5 point harness. It's sad because 99% of the day was ultra enjoyable but ICAR failed Continental and all the effort they put in host the event. Continental reps told us to drive it like we stole it and ICAR failed to deliver. PS for others reading please avoid the orange Lambo instructor. You will have 50% more fun in the Ferrari 430 and 100% more enjoyment in the green Lambo. Hopefully they will fix their issue and provide better service in the future. A smile on the face would be a good start in addressing that. Felt like ICAR instructors were there not because they want to but rather because they had to.

Ride sucked ! Awful experience, instructor couldn’t communicate properly! No adrenaline whatsoever! I drove faster on autobahn in Germany faster ! Don’t waste your time and money on such a short track !!!Never again!

From the modern international airport it was suppose to be down to this...what a joke. Mirabel Airport deserved so much better than what it is now.

Thanks to Icar Mirabel I am always excited to join new activity during my free time. Laping, Drifring ... The Crew is really experience and really nice ! Also always excited to meet new people. Thanks !

Alex and I had a great day at Icar with the 20min Mustang race experience. I highly recommend this package! I must admit that we have been several times. 2 times for the WRX winter, 1 time for the Exotic car with the GT-R and the 458 Italia, 1 time Aerodrome and the Go-Karting is fun too. We will be back.Great group of instructors, concerned with safety, but also making sure your track time is supper FUN.
