I was in the store this past week more than once and each time I had a very positive experience. The first time I dealt with three individual employees, 2 in the store that were helping me measure a frame to have some glass cut, then getting it cut in the lumberyard. Each of these employees was checking and rechecking to make sure that everything was done correctly and to my satisfaction.The second time I was simply looking for something, an article that I needed and I had no idea where to go in the store. The gal at cash didn’t just tell me, she took me to where she thought the article would be. All of these employees went above and beyond.Thank you all!

Shopped there two times over last few days based on job site location. Same gentleman both days was working and one cashier. Hands down worst attitude I've experienced from an employee. He was rude, short and made me feel dumb for asking for help on both visits. Definitely won't be shopping here. Need to be more approachable and welcoming. I thought you wanted people to shop there lol. On that note, I love home hardware. Just not this location.

Staff are helpful. Shelves are well stocked. Lumber yard is easy to access and pick up your items.Hardware is over priced... no discount when purching a box of 100 bolts or nuts.

Home hardware Campbellford is the worst period! Management needs a complete overhaul & this isn't the first time I've had serious issues with this one store and it's ONLY with management not the staffHow does this place stay in business?

Beautiful, big hardware store. Their system a bit complicated, time consuming and confusing. When ordering from service deparent what was nèeded from the lumber yard there was a bit of confusion with order from service department to lumber yard, this is where i had a long wait to sort the issue out and run back and forth from service department to teller, them to service department, back to teller then back to the lumber yard. It was very frustrating, and time consuming on such a hot day, when pressed for time. The employees pleasant, respectful, appoligetic yet very kind.

The manager should be fired. He doesn't know how to manage or be a decent human being. There are multiple complaints and incidents reported concerning his behaviour. If he has no qualms about treating customers like trash, I feel sorry for the employees. I recommend going to the Stirling Home Hardware until the owner at Campbellford either smartens up and replaces the current manager, or at the very least pays for some basic management courses.

I have plans to build an Outdoor Woodburning Pizza Oven out of 50 red clay bricks and 2 patio stones. After trying Rona (who offered no solutions) I headed here an employee named Bobby (I think) told me that they did sell the bricks I was after but they were usually only sold by the pallet, which had 440 bricks on it. After talking with him and all that, he worked the price per brick out abd gave me the price. Didn't buy the bricks, got them from a friend who is a retired brick layer and he had the exact same bricks at his place that he just gave me, BUT if I didn't know him I absolutely would have gone back to this home hardware and gotten the bricks from them. The staff was incredibly helpful and I would recommend anyone looking to make this should go here for the materials.The materials I was After were:50 - red clay bricks2- 24x24" patio stonesBasically how it works is a 2 brick layer around 3 sides to make the furnace part

If I could give this less than a 1 star, I would. I was in this location last week with my parents. We specifically went in for one of the items in the flyer. As there were none left on the shelf in the spot allocated for that particular product (very bottom shelf), we asked an older man working the paint counter if he knew if there were any left. We could clearly see he was busy, so he asked what was clearly the manager/owner of the store. He at first told the employee, and I quote so help them".
