Great shop great people, they also listen to feedback well. It is amazingly decorated and designed. Good music, many products and consumer goods too, if you enjoy purchasing things after your haircut.

Love getting my hair cut here. Benjamin’s a beauty - great attention to detail, and I love the result! The Stephen J hair products are fantastic. And they’ll make you an espresso. Highly recommend!

I have been to a few barbers in the downtown area of Calgary. None compared to Johnny's Barber shop on 1st street. Amazing atmosphere, even more amazing barbers! The one and only Francis, cut my hair and I was blown away by his passion and unique ability to understand your needs and potential new style before putting scissors to hair. To me, that meant a lot and I will recommend anyone in Calgary, especially in the downtown area to come see Francis or anyone that fits your personality at Johnny's Barber Shop.

I’ve been going to Johnny’s Barber Shop for the third time now and I don’t see myself going anywhere else. The shop is so aesthetic you wouldn’t think it would be a barber shop at first glance. The atmosphere is laid back and filled with positive vibes. It’s very inspiring to see people have a good time.I highly recommend Francis. I first saw him on YouTube and was blown away by the cuts. You can tell he cares about his clients, from the attention to detail in the haircut and coffee!

I loved my experience at Johnny's! I had the pleasure of being in Benjamin's chair, where I got to see his passion for his craft and his skill. I have longer hair so I've always gone to women's salons for my cuts. Finding Johnny's, I was excited to see an upscale place marketed to men that I could get a great cut. At the end of my cut, I said this is the best haircut I've ever had" out loud. Great place

Tyrin is an amazing barber! Even though he’s relatively new to the game, he provides excellent care and ensures that his clients are 100% satisfied with their cuts. He’s very personable, and makes sure the process is fun along the way. 10/10 would recommend.

I'm new to Calgary, so I decided to go get my hair cut to start off fresh. There wasn't much open on a Saturday afternoon, so I decided to just pick the first one on Google Maps that was open. So glad that this was the first result I got. When I walked in, I first noticed just how inviting and well put together the shop was. When you walk in, you feel like it's not a burden to get you hair cut. The staff were super friendly and always smiled or asked me how I was. My Barber was Tyrin. He was the best Barber. Super nice and easy to get along with. I'll be coming back soon

Tyrin consistently strives for perfection when it comes to his craft. Fortunately I have two perfect kids that came in today so it made him happy. He treats them as equals and even though they are younger and considerably better looking, this didn’t negatively affect Tys artistry. Both boys now look better than ever and thanks to Ty they feel like a part of this world too. Thanks for making sure my kids stay lookin good. 10/10 recommend.

Best barber shop in Calgary hands down. I walked in one day to get a new cut and a beard trim, wasn't disappointed. Besides great customer service, they really make you feel like your hanging out with close friends. They play awesome tunes and have a great atmosphere. Francis is the one who takes care of me and he always makes me look my best. Always get so many compliments after my visits. I highly recommend stopping by if you need to look your best. I couldn't imagine seeing anyone else.
