Location is great for visiting hot springs, hiking, or asking the local mountain just 49 minutes from the villas. Staff are more focused on telling what not to do than what to do. Not the welcoming friendly experience I expected as a cruiser. Maybe the land lock staff are stressed. The facility had some services limited and in need of repair. Early morning arrives with heavy trucks beeping. The accommodate buildings are of wood construction, amplifying every sound from those bypassing or above wearing shoes in their rooms. Rooms are clean and open. Room colours are neutral.

Used points from a timeshare and are still charged a fee everyday. They want to nickel and dime you. We can here the people walking above our unit. Floors seem to be pretty thin. Good for people who might want to golf here. Got put down by the river. If we want to use any of the amenities we have to drive to the main resort. Never staying here again. Also advertised it was a 2 bedroom. It’s actually two single bedroom condos that we have to prop the door open so our kids can come it our side of the condo. They tried to “help” by saying they could bring a foam mattress. I I could vote zero I could. They want to charge you in the fine print. Read EVERYTHING so you don’t have any surprises in the fine print then you gotta pay. Place seems nice enough but I’ve been in much nicer places in panorama just up the road. Oh yeah we only checked in today so 6 nights.

We stayed here a couple years ago in building 800 (down the main road from the office) in a roomy 1-bedroom unit with a large balcony that overlooked the golf course. We had a nice stay and looked forward to returning. Fast forward a couple years and we rebook the same way through timeshare exchange, but surprise, we are in building 400 (side B/Harry Potter's Bedroom) in a tiny cramped space. We can hear our neighbors talk, cough, flush the toilet. There is no doormat, so we have to sweep up sand constantly. Bed is uncomfortable. We mostly walk around in the dark b/c the lighting caused both of us headaches. This room might be ok if you plan to be away most of the time, but if you were hoping for some peaceful indoors time, be sure you are getting the right room. Also, a $15/day resort fee" is preposterous. There are no amenities that would make this reasonable. There's a small pool

Traded Interval International for this location. Area nice, rooms cheap, beds cripple you, almost zero amenities in room. TV was snow and needed to be reprogrammed. Hot tub, a warm bath…….. definitely will not be back and will not recommend.

We exchanged to this timeshare. Got a unit facing the Riverside Golf course. Kitchen is great. BBQ on the balcony facing the hot course is so pleasant to cook and eat dinner. Instant hot water system is smart. The rooms are big but there is only a queen bed. This is the only thing we find not able to understand. The club house has game room, gym, hot tubs, pool, sauna and steam room.Fairmont Hot Springs is a very small place in the Canadian Rockies. There is only one small grocery stores. Bigger ones are 20 minutes drive. But there are several eateries in this small town.

We exchanged our time share in Breckenridge, CO, USA. I am very happy to say that the resort exceeds my expectations! The staff has been very friendly and helpful. Some of the reviews have been quite negative, perhaps they were pre-remodel. Suite A is roomy, well furnished and relaxing. Suite B is supposed to be smaller and face the parking area. Both sides have a view of mountains. The location is further south than is optimal for us but that also provides distance from the crowds….

Sunchaser has different properties. The Riverview was a disappointing time share exchange. There was a $15 per day surcharge resort fee" for a property that is definitely not a resort. It is isolated from other buildings and amenities. You need to drive to the pool and recreation center and to any of the attractions in the Columbia Valley. If you are fortunate to get an "A" side unit there is a nice balcony with a view across the golf course. Otherwise you get a space on the main passageway with a view of the parking lot and road utilities unit. The furnishings are dated and the plumbing is dodgy. You are on your own for linens

If I could summarize this place in one sentence, it would be that this location offers many things, but very few of them are done well. There’s laundry machines for those staying, but they’re shared between the A and B units of whichever suite you’re staying in. If the other unit is occupied by strangers, then you’ll be on a rotating access schedule for the laundry machines and usage will be restricted to certain hours. There’s air conditioning, but only for the living room and not the bedroom. The hotel says each unit can sleep 4, but there’s only one Texas king size bed and a pullout couch bed. WiFi is available, but it’s insecure and so slow that it’s impossible to use for anything important, so you’re better off using your cellular data. There’s a pool and hot tub, but it’s shared between multiple buildings owned by the company and isn’t onsite, so it needs to be driven to. It’s also not well maintained, with equipment such as the outside hot tub jet pump not working at all. If you drive an EV, there is charging unofficially available at some parking spots, but it’s a 120v wall plug, so expect a very long wait. If you’re a sensitive sleeper and your unit faces the parking lot, you’re probably better off staying elsewhere unless staff will move you to another unit. There are walkways on all floors that run directly outside of these units that have always-on lights, and the blinds do little to help block out the light pollution. Because the walkways are directly outside your bedroom, every morning with checkout time is extremely noisy, so sleeping in will be a struggle. The TV set top boxes also appear to be broken, so the TV guide never works because the system time won’t set correctly. The image quality on most if not all the channels is also terrible.Again, there's a lot on offer, but even low expectations risk disappointment with this place.

Very nice unit with full kitchen, separate bedroom, BBQ, and washer/dryer. Adjacent to Riverside Golf Course. Close to grocery/shopping/hiking trails. I also booked the adjacent lockoff for our friends. It also had a separate bedroom but was a smaller unit with a partial kitchen and a shared BBQ. We used the bigger unit for cooking, eating, and watching the Stanley Cup finals.
