Great service and friendly staff. Called to see if they do public sales vs accounts. Confirmed public sales with a $20 min purchase required. Seemed like a great deal to me considering the alternative is online ordering for something this specialized.

Usually find these guys helpful but unimpressed with the outright refusal to help me figure out the size of machine screws I needed. Called too close to the end of the day I suppose.

Fastenal Nanaimo has always been my go to place for specialty bolts and screws. So it was quite a disappointment today to show up, park in the tiny parking lot only to find the front door locked and a bunch of signs on the door stating that they no longer sell to the general public and that any order has to be emailed in starting at a 50$ minimum purchase. Not sure why you would have a local store if your not interested in selling to the general public. Took my business 2 minutes down the road to Gregg Distributors and they luckily had the specialty bolts I was looking for and had no problem selling me four of them.

“Mass formation psychosis” Took over the companies operation. Went there to shop and found their doors closed. Their choice if they don’t need mine and many others business. Spent a couple thousand dollars down the street

What a waste of time these people left us waiting outside for a half an hour while they had lunch and didn't even look for what we asked for. They won't let us in to find it ourself. This business is a joke I hope you guys enjoyed your lunch you wasted ours

Being Will call only is a pain when trying to track down odd ball hardware. It's easier for me to go somewhere else rather than try to find the thread pitch of some no standard bolt.
