Overall I have had a really positive experience at Taafe. The staff are exceptional(and have patience). And since my case is time sensitive they have really helped me get the most out of my time.

I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone. She is all about taking money from her clients.She would always show up late for court and unprepared. I paid approximately 50 thousand for a separation and so many things did not get finished..

Only in it for the Money, they will not actually try to push for what you need but will drag out your case so as to make more money. I would give negative stars if i could. My family is NOT happyEdit: Do not be afraid to complain to the upper law society of Canada. The last Lawyer that did this to me after Francesca DePalma, I complained simultaneously with a dismissal. I havnt had any problems since, the upper bar scared these monsters into working ethically and in your actual best interest. The minute you have to question a lawyers ethics your better off just letting them go. FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE LAW SOCIETY OF CANADA!!!

I found mrs Taafe and her team to be absolutly amazing. They dealt with my seperation quickly and provided me with perfect legal advice and service. Would definetly reccomend to any one.

After retaining her for a family matter and giving her a retainer, she went on leave. Never returned emails and phone calls. Once we finally reached her she stated she was closing her practice. Very unprofessional lawyer and had no remorse for leaving us high and dry. Took money out of the retainer and returned a minimal amount of money. Stay clear is my advice if she reopens!

I went to Taafe law for a separation and they were unprofessional, unorganized and not prepared. Every-time I was scheduled to come to the office to pick something up it wouldn’t be ready. They always had excuses as to why this would happen: “She wasn’t in today”, “she hasn’t signed the cheque yet”, “she didn’t get to this and we are very busy”. I had to attend the office multiple times to acquire the same documents. The only time they were organized was when they sent me bills, and did they ever send me bills. Their billing practices are borderline criminal; they would call me to pay my bill and then charge me for that call. When I called to pay my bill, they would bill me to pay my bill!?!? Is that even legal? I was not satisfied with their representation and left halfway through the case. Not impressed at all and spent a lot of money with this firm, don’t make the same mistake I did!

I was thrown out and my daughter was kept from me with no court order. She wasn't very helpful or professional. Things I needed or asked for never got done and waited weeks still wasn't done. she is withholding my files from me.. She only cares about the money not what's best for her clients. I wouldn't recommened her to anyone.

I went to Taafe after my mom passed away in 2018. I was told that by Sept of 2019 i should be able to sell her house. I decided to give them the time so i started to inquire around the end of July to see how things were going, only to get the run around and found out the girl that was dealing with it was no longer there. After finally getting some answers i found out probate hadn't even been filed. Probate was finally filed a year after my moms death.To make a very long story short. Probate was filed incorrectly and she wasted 2yrs to do this. She charged me over 12k and i went to another lawyer who had it all completed in 4mths for 3000.Do not use her. She will just take your money.

I have worked with Lesley and her team to buy commercial property and to provide corporate contractual guidance. Great to work with! Highly recommend this firm.

DO NOT USE THIS FIRM. THEY ARE THEIFTS AND THEY WILL ROB YOU FOR EVERY RED CENT YOU HAVE. I cannot stress this enough if you want first hand advise please just ask. Do not use this firm. Do your research. She will sell you in your consult, she seems crued but she will take every dime and deliver mediocre results. Over priced... promises better service then Russell Alexander and misses the mark by a long shot.
