Pop-ups on the Bay
Been searching for good Schawarma since moving here 2 yrs ago and found it at Pop-Ups on the Bay!! @falafalroyale, owned by a lovely Syrian family. Open Wed-Sunday until 7:30pm… take-out so easy! Will try Falafal dish next time!

Tad underwhelming, but may b so coz we arrived at 6. We were expecting more upbeat vibe, but it was very chill. I had a tropical blend smoothie (totally worth it) and shwarma, which took forever to make.It is bit of a drive for just the food bt the view was very nice. There is a playarea for kids.

Went to the food from different countries festival and as usual it was great. Tried a selection from 3 different countries. Definitely recommend the Momo balls from Nepal.

Pop-ups on the Bay
I love Pop-ups on the Bay, it is truly the best sunday destination! We rented a 3 person Kayak ($30 for one hr - they provide life jackets etc) had a delicious cinnamon bun from Benj's $5 - but for goodnes sake tip this vendor. Gators large fries & gravy & drink $10 and Ice Cream from Golden Scoops $2.25 for a generous Kiddie Cone. There is also mini putt and other awesome food vendors.

Really cool City program that lets local businesses shine in a lovely location. Had some gator fries poutine and benjis coffee by the bay front with a sweet view of the bridge.

Falafel royale is a must try! 10/10 so yummy.I love summer in the park with the pop ups, great food and fun for the family !
