Hyatt Regency Calgary

Parking greed, part two.I wrote the review below three days ago about their poor parking policy, and the hotel responded that they had updated their website to reflect you're not guaranteed parking, but they will valet if the lot is full. This did not happen for me. They only offered to valet my car after they had directed me a few blocks down the road during rush hour and I left to find this parking and I still could not find any and came back. The entire first day I was a guest their parking remained closed. They advertise it is a parking lot for the public as well as guests and have well painted signs that promote public parking and when they close it and it is full, they have a well used sign for that that lets you know they are out of space. I stick by my first review below when I ask Hyatt to put their guests first.I wrote the first time:Don't rely on them having parking for you, as this is the first Hyatt I've been to that lets the downtown public use their garage. Have never stayed before but did with my youth girls Thunder volleyball team. Great location near Stephen avenue and train system! Great staff and check in and the rooms were amazing!

Great hotel located in the heart of Calgary. It overlooks the convention center and there was a convention for farmers going on while we were here.The breakfast was really good and had all the staples for a honestly breakfast in addition to the ingredients to build your own smoked salmon bagel! The breakfast location overlooks the city as well and makes the dining experience feel luxurious.The rooms and service were great. We needed more towels and they came within 5 minutes. Made our first stay in Calgary really exciting to explore as we had a vista view of the city.

wow, i am amazed at this hotel! luxurious, tasty food, nice design. wonderful check-in. room service was amazing very friendly staff. beds were amazing, unfortunately in the fridge someone’s meal was still left in there but no worries! The wonderful staff replaced the fridge. also, very convenient because it’s connected to the Plus15 (see my other review for Thompson’s restaurant.)

The entire staff at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Calgary were the most welcoming, professional, and diligent of any hotel that I've been to before. They handled the sudden influx of hundreds of dancers and volleyball players roaming their hotel this past weekend with courteous service and smiles. Exceptional front desk service, valet service, and Ezra in the restaurant was a sweetheart. Highly recommend this hotel, especially for conferences or a modern getaway right next to the Tower.

The location is great. Everything is within walking distance and public transportation is super convenient. The staff were informative and available at all times. We had access to the club room which was great. The pool and gym are nice and the rooms are well decorated. The only downside is the beds were a bit hard and the pillows were either really hard or nothing to them.

We only stayed one night so basing it off of less than 24 hours, but we definitely enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic. The corner room was lovely, the bed comfy, the room super clean. I was hoping there would be a toilet room instead of being placed in the middle of the bathroom. Also was hoping parking wouldn’t be the same as the general public for over night.. $35 I think? Our stay came with $10 credit for anything in the hotel, and we used it at the restaurant in the morning for breakfast, which was pretty good but service was disappointing. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool and sauna, but noticed the temperature could be warmer for sure, and the level of the hot tub’s water seemed quite low?Overall I would feel comfortable staying there again and need to note that the guest experience from the customer service is absolutely fantastic and seamless.

We went for a conference and the hotel is in a prime location. Staff are very nice and helpful. We gave a lower rating for the room because there were several things that were on the verge of breaking. The shower curtain rod was hanging and the shower curtain wouldn't stay closed. The water faucet only put out a small trickle of cold water. The light went on on its own. The best thing about these rooms is they have a filtered water faucet. I don't know how often the filter is replaced but it tasted good :) overall our stay was great, we'll stay again.

When we showed up at 11pm, front desk staff were over the top friendly, polite, helpful and quick. They arranged a shuttle back to the airport and assisted promptly when my son forgot his iPad to help get it to the airport before flight departure. (Thank you!!). This will be my go to place for future staysRoom was clean and spacious. Was very happy with it.

I stayed here, and it was absolutely wonderful. The room was very clean and comfortable, the location was excellent, and the hotel's front desk staff were all very kind and helpful. I especially want to express my gratitude to Jun for his exceptional kindness. If I have the opportunity to visit Calgary again in the future, I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it!
