Beautiful location. But they forgot our drinks, our eggs Benny eggs were poached rock hard when we asked for soft, the hollandaise was from a package, and crazy expensive for what you get. We will not be returning.

Incredible view with disappointing food and mediocre service. 30+ minutes wait times for basic dry chicken wrap.

Cozy little spot on the water. We were there for the happy hour menu. $5 food items and Corona or house wine. Caesar salad was good, crab cakes were a bit small, dry ribs weren’t really “dry”. You have to go to the counter to order then pick a table and wait for them to bring your drinks, and eventually your food. Service was a bit slow, and it wasn’t that busy, but the staff were very cheerful. They were out of the house Chardonnay, which is the special pricing for happy hour, but wouldn’t substitute another white ( Pinot Grigio for example ). Hence the 4 stars.

Review #2I took guests to the cafe tonight for dinner and was hugely disappointed. The service was terrible. The wait staff are very inefficient and forgetful. We waited 15 minutes to put in our drink order and another 35 to get our drinks. We put our order for appys and mains in as soon as our drink order arrived. Then we waited an hour for our appys which did not come as ordered. We had to ask for cutlery and plates but only the cutlery came so I went into the kitchen and asked for plates. Fifteen minutes later three of our four mains arrived and the forth had not started being prepared. The food once we got it was good but we were upset enough we weren’t able to enjoy it. VERY disappointing and embarrassing.Review #1This quaint little outdoor treasure located within the Ladysmith Maritime Community Marina is a true gem. The Oyster Bay Cafe is located on the water amidst the boats moored at the marina. They used to only be open for breakfast and lunch but have now expanded to dinner as well. My partner had the tuna burger which was cooked to perfection and I had the Santa Fe wrap which was also very good.As we sat at our table, some people pull up in their dinghy to come enjoy the atmosphere and wonderful food. You can’t get a dining experience much closer to the water! An absolute treasure!

I usually don't go for eggs benny but this was pretty good, not much for breakfast items but the lunches looked good, really good coffee I must say

Service was a bit slow. Tuna was overcooked. Not Gluten friendly . Food took an hour. They need more staff and need to give number signs for the tables so staff know where to deliver food. Lots of wrong guessing on food delivery. Awkward gravel road to get there. Car wash time.

Staff was distracted? Forgot to bring us our drinks/ beers that we already paid for... But they were cold once received. Nice view and serene...

This gem was my last spot for my Ladysmith visit. Menu was pretty simple. And the oyster chowder soup was good. And the place was beautiful and peaceful. Friendly staffs, clean table organized community. They have sources of marine activities as well. We loves this place.

First time at this cafe. Wish it was table service but minor detail. Food was so fresh and delicious. Prices are very good for both the food and the drinks. Had no room for dessert but they looked delicious too. Will definitely be going back.
