I really wanted to love this local business (given how many of my neighbours were happy with them), but that wasn’t our experience. Most of our issues were with poor installation (snag in new carpet on one staircase and a buckle on the other staircase). There was also some damage during install to an existing tile threshold. While Carpet Mill staff were responsive to fixing the carpet issues, there was no compensation for the damage or inconvenience. Also store staff could have made a better recommendation for a more durable high-traffic carpet rug (without loops) as we aren’t convinced this will last without another snag…Overall, a disappointing experience for $3000. Hoping this was just a one-off.

After 3 trips to search through their endless showroom selection I finally made a decision. Of course I ended up choosing a beautiful wool carpet that was on back order, but it was worth the wait for sure. I had it custom cut to size and professionally bound to match the wool perfectly. No need to travel far for all of your flooring needs. Great location with a huge parking lot next to No Frills so you can grab some groceries too. Fernando and all the team sure know their stuff.

I shopped around for some hallway and stair runners with disappointing results. Then I tried Carpet Mill. The experience and result were excellent. Fernando made the perfect carpet recommendation. Carlos and the installer did a meticulous job - and of course it was more complicated than expected. We’d highly recommend Carpet Mill.

This was sent to the shop by email today …Marcelino did a stellar job Marcelino did for me with the installation of vinyl plank flooring that replaced old-school laminate.   I was worried beforehand because of all the built-ins and the complicated edges in the unit - but Marcelino navigated the problems with an expertise that amazed me and made me very happy. He also left the place spotless.I have used Carpet Mill for many years - dating back to the early 2000's or thereabouts, and this latest job has kept me a fan.Thanks

Great experience from start to finish. I picked out my carpet at the store and set up an appointment for someone to drop by and give me an estimate. Price was reasonable. A week later, the installers came and went above and beyond to make sure the carpet was perfect. Total pros. Recommend fully.

My wife and I recently had the Carpet Mill replace a carpet in our basement. We visited the store once, scheduled the work and it was complete in a couple of weeks. A very nice gentleman surveyed the project ahead of time to firm up the quote. The work was completed in one day, the crew was friendly and cleaned up thoroughly. I would recommend Carpet Mill to anyone in our area.

We are extremely satisfied with every aspect of our experience with The Carpet Mill. Our salesman was informative and not at all pushy; the installer was punctual and polite and did a great job installing carpet on our stairs. And perhaps best of all, we paid about $1,000 LESS than we had been quoted by another shop for the identical carpet/installation. Highly recommend.

What kind and caring staff at The Carpet Mill, and they have a large selection of flooring options. I went in today to find a piece of wool carpet, and they had exactly what I needed. I couldn't be happier!
