CIBC Branch with ATM

I opened my first account at this branch and have received nothing but great service. I don’t go to the branch often but when I do the wait times are minimal and the service is fast and efficient.

I hope you know CIBC is famous for their bad services in the international student community. We are actively advised to avoid them as our banks by other fellow students. And the reason is that the staff always acts as if we owe something to them. I don't understand why they treat us so horribly despite the fact that THEY are the ones providing a service to US. I had a simple query regarding my GIC and debit card pin, some lady by the name of Rose or Rosie gave me the worst attitude I've ever experienced as a consumer/ customer. The other staff was polite and tried to help, but miss Rosie, or whoever she is, made it hell. She kept making faces behind the counter as if she's sly. When I required assistance at the ATM machine, and she decided to stand behind the glass doors and speak from behind it. I couldnt even tell that she is talking to me, and when I told her I cant hear you

These guys are wonderful. I met with Mr Varun, who really was nice and spent time with me to ensure that all my requests are met. I came in and wanted to talk about opening a joint acount with my partner, they arranged a meeting with Rose Gubbels the senior financial services representitive. She was very rude and seemed to discriminate me and my partner based on our age. We came in with all the right identification and she proceded to tell me that my Ontario license was altered" and refused to serve me. I have never received such bad service from a cibc branch

Today I went to this CIBC postmaster location.Avoid this location. The one of cashiers was not giving good customer service. I have the impression that I am not welcome there. She doesn't care about the customer. Not recommend this CIBC location. I have been using CIBC more than 20 years now.

This location was horrible. I walk in and automatically two older middle aged ladies gave me PURE attitude when I told them why I was there. Thankfully a nicer girl walked up and knew exactly why I was there and proceeded to actually help me. Instead of dismiss me. Quit your job if you’re going to be miserable & dismiss people for no reason when you’re actually the one in the wrong. How embarrassing. I was nothing but nice & polite. Avoid this location! I would hate to trust people like that with personal information.

I have banked at this Branch for more than 3 years and the staff have been very helpful. I dealt with Rose for a mortgage renewal that helped me through Covid. When I decided to retire Rose also advised me to park my monies in a secure fund that made monies, while I transitioned from selling my home and relocating. I am more than happy to continue deal with Rose and CIBC moving forward.

Tamara and Eva were most helpful today. Assisted with wire transfers and advice. Would highly recommend this branch.
