Medallion Properties Rental Office

I have lived here over 3 years and every year the rent goes up and the upkeep goes down. The owners only care about shoving as many people as possible into this building and charging as much as possible, when it comes to repairs, maintenance or desperately needed improvements to the building staff is nowhere to be found. The only upside is the location is about as good as it gets in Brampton, even with the parade of homeless junkies constantly loitering across the street.

Worst maintenance. Help desk is of no use. Nobody responds to the problems. And the maintenance requests will be automatically closed without any resolution. If you face any problem on weekend, you have to wait till Monday.

Probably the worst... They literally don't care about the health of their tenants. The annual insuite inspection last exactly 5 secondes. No check of the sink while there is moisture and we complain about. No check of the windows, no check of the CO detector, no filter change... NOTHING .

There are no services. Everything is made uncomfortable and when we ask them to change something they say that it has to be like this. The supervisor speaks so loudly and makes us uncomfortable if we are referring to our problems. Anyone hardly picks up the call at the office.There are no lights in the bedroom.Kitchen and washroom are too smallWater flow in the sink is too less.

Some staff are good but the quality is very hit and miss. Facility is starting to show wear beyond its age and could do with a substantial and well executed tear-our and rebuild. Office hours are now only 9:00 to 5:00 Monday to Thursday, and 8:30 - 4:00 on Friday making in-person interaction almost impossible to people who are employed. Office staff also do not seem to be concerned with opening on time. This is a bit ironic as the price of rent is also much higher than it should be for the amenities and location.Edit: December 2022, office hours have further been reduced to Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays. Supers' are still good but the office staff and property owner appear not not care about the property anymore and refuse to invest. Do not suggest renting here.Some facilities are un-necessarily cheap.

management is outrageous god forbid, if you have to deal with them, they are a bunch of crooks. always take everything in writing from them. cannot trust their verbal communication. no security, people come and go as they please. package stolen, they don't care. door causing trouble, well, they won't fix it since it cost 500$ for a new lock, so deal with it.

My fiance and I moved in a couple of months ago and I have nothing but good things to say about this building and Medallion! The members of Medallion and the superintendent have been really pleasant and helpful and the building is great! The people are friendly, security is good and the rooms themselves are modern, clean and lovely :)

Rented the apartment for close to 5 years now. Staff’s are disrespectful, any issues they don’t care at all. Can’t never reach them through phone. The call center for after hours is absolutely pathetic.Only pros’ are location closer to go terminal & building is fairly new still.

lived here for 2.5 years. was a good clean well maintained place. members of building maintenance are always quick to help with problems.walls were solid. couldnt hear neighbors often.laundry room is pay and can get pretty busy at times.elevators were sometimes iffy. down a bit too often. 2/3 working a little too often.being that its downtown brampton it can get a little sketchy at night. during the day its pretty average.
