Greg was very thorough, he advised us on things we may want to look further into and was happy to answer any and all questions I had.

Pillar to Post Home Inspectors - Greg Schreiner
After having used Pillar to Post in 2006 I decided to try this company again in 2021 when purchasing a new property. I was aware that a different person was now conducting the inspection but was so satisfied with the service performed in 2006 that I decided it really couldn't be that different could it? Unfortunately it was. I'm simply amazed that there were so many items not commented on in the report that I'm left wondering exactly what sort of inspection was done. There were two main" concerns noted in the report. The first was with regards to the furnace where it was stated "There are rust stains on the heat exchanger." This was the main point highlighted by Greg when we did the walk through. This remark was included in the report along with the statement that due to the age and unknown service history of the furnace that it was recommended to have it checked by a licensed HVAC contractor for safety. What surprised me though was that this winter cracks on the heat exchanger were located during a repair resulting in a $6500+ replacement of the furnace. Rust stains!?! How about cracks! The second concern noted was that the sump pump wasn't working. This was a good catch and the seller replaced it.But let's talk about what was missed. When examining the basement structure
