Many thanks to Dr. Manhas and his staff.A few years ago I chose an implant to replace a tooth, and found Dr. Manhas and his staff to be extremely knowledgeable, experienced, courteous and professional. In the years since, I have experienced care and support that goes above and beyond what could be expected. Most recently, as my gum had not grown quite as much as hoped, to support the implant, I was given the option, then provided with, gum grafting, as included maintenance to the original implant. This caring, relationship driven practice is a rarity in our world today. Thanks again to CalgaryPero.- Tom

Whenever I flossed my teeth for the past15 years+, my teeth were bleeding. In only one cleaning session here, the bleeding has stopped right away and my teeth recession reduced from 7 - 9 mm to 4 - 6 mm :). After each cleaning in regular dental clinics for the past 15 years+, my teeth just felt like they have been butchered for 1 or 2 hours for no improvement. Here, the feeling is completely different. I just had my 2nd cleaning session and feeling is same as after the 1st session: my teeth feel clean, lighter, they just feel good :). So, thank you so much for the amazing job.

The team at Calgary Perio provided excellent service throughout my implant experience. Dr. Manhas explained all treatments and procedures in a simple manner and was empathetic to any concerns I had. He and his staff are very professional, knowledgeable and personable. From the first visit up until final check up you can see that Calgary Perio has your best interests in mind. I highly recommend Dr. Manhas and Calgary Perio.

Couldn't have had a better experience with Dr. Manhas and his assistant, Hayley. I highly recommend you book a consult with him if you need a periodontist.I was referred to Dr. Manhas after having six failed gum graft surgeries with another periodontist in Calgary. The surgery went as well as it could and was ultimately successful. During recovery, I had almost no pain; requiring only three extra strength Tylenol. My recoveries from prior surgeries were so painful I was taking upwards of 20 Tylenol and Advil each. I don't know how Dr. Manhas does it.As another reviewer mentioned, you pay for the surgery up front and wait to be reimbursed by insurance. I'm sure they could work something out if you're unable to cover the entire charge up front.

I had two surgeries at Calgary Perio, one last year and one yesterday. Dr. Brar is very nice, patient, approachable, and knowledgeable and he has a great team to work for him. I had an emergency this morning and texted Dr. Brar and he replied me right away! Highly recommended.

I had a gum graft. I was one of the unlucky people that it didn't go smoothly for. Dr. Brar was always available on his cell phone! I contacted him at 930 one evening and again on a Sunday afternoon. His staff are kind and helpful and have called to check on me numerous times! Highly recommend this clinic

While the dental services are good I am actually feeling incredibly disappointed, outraged and violated as I think I was manipulated into getting the treatments that were beyond my Dental coverage limits. Dr Minhas and their office assured me that the deep cleaning that I was about to get at this clinic will be covered by my insurance and suggested that I get these cleanings done here rather than my regular general dentist.I have not doubted Dr. Minhas’s suggestion and went for the treatments advised by him. However when I was done today and paid them $360 for the services, they say that my insurance denied the claim…!!!!!! I wasn’t expecting this because before I committed to their treatment plan they assured me that it will be just a little bit extra cleaning and my insurance will cover these treatments. But guess what??? I have apparently used all the units provided my plan and ended up paying $360 out of pocket. I came out of their office and almost was in tears because I felt cheated!They don’t direct bill here so you pay upfront and your insurance reimburses you.So please be warned that before getting any service from these people please call your insurance and check if you have enough coverage and then only go ahead with the treatments. I am not going back here.
