Amazing local bookshop with a great emphasis on local authors and a wide variety of Canadian authors and stories.

Beautiful little shop tucked out of the way. Great selection of fiction and non-fiction titles. Definitely be back next time I'm in Edmonton.

Great, well curated bookstore. Any time I have popped by, I always find interesting titles I have never heard of, but definitely want to read. I haven't been to their new location yet, but I am sure the high quality and great customer service has moved with them!

This is my favourite bookstore in Edmonton. The employees are actually readers who are passionate about books. The selection they carry is unique and carefully curated so you can discover something incredible you’d never find at a chain store. I’ve also attended one of their book club meetings which was full of excellent questions and conversation. Their selection is much smaller than the big chain bookstore (which shall not be named) but everything in the Glass Bookshop is magical and amazing. They are connected to an art gallery and also have a bar/cafe/patio that is often open. Art, coffee, books and a patio…what more could you ask for?

A local independent book shop stocked full of titles. Helpful staff. I browsed for a bit. Even though the shop is small, there was so much to see. I settled on a children's book, three cookbooks and a novel. (Four of the five written by Albertans).

Quiet and beautiful little bookshop. A lot of the titles are quite confronting and are focused on helping people to learn, as well as reevaluate and expand their understanding of the world we live in and how it operates. Perfect if you are looking for a title to challenge you and help you grow.Staff was friendly and helpful, and store was clean and comfortable.

Never had a bad experience coming here. The Glass Bookshop crew are all so friendly and knowledgable, especially if you don't know what to read next; they are always full of great questions to tailor their recommendations!I also love the GB book club. I've only managed to attend one virtually, but the facilitation and inclusion was wonderful. I can't wait til I can get to another! (Life just keeps *happening*.)They are dog friendly, and easy to navigate. On a Sunday afternoon when it's quiet, it's the dreamiest place to browse. Finally, I also want to speak to the special requests service. If there's a title not already in their catalogue, Julie is great at ordering in whatever you're looking for with a quick email to the shop! Never fret about trying to find books on your own again, the GB babes have got you :)
