The Yoga Buggy

I had the opportunity to attend a virtual “Yoga Tools in the Classroom” workshop with Bryony and the Yoga Buggy. I loved the practical examples and ways to meaningfully incorporate mindful breathing and body movement throughout the day to develop and support social emotional learning and self-regulation. By moving through and practicing these activities, games, and stories together, I left the workshop feeling ready and inspired to immediately implement these ideas in my practice. Bryony also created a thoughtful, detailed handbook so we could later refer to our learning and discussions, while still being present in the moment. My students love the opportunities to build their understanding of their bodies, breath, and self-regulation through playing, storytelling, and moving with yoga. I highly recommend this workshop, especially as we look for ways to be well and resilient in such challenging times.

The YB has been a great place to work. The team is constantly coming up with, and sharing new ways to offer the principles of yoga to the kids (through games, activities, books etc) and is a very supportive environment for teachers.

Delighted by this after-school program hosted by a lovely team of practitioners. My 6/7 year old son enjoyed both fall and spring sessions and has been showing off new poses all year :)

I book Yoga Buggy for the kids for my before and afterschool program. The yoga teachers are nice and friendly, she even took the kids outside to have yoga class outside when it was sunny!! Would recommend booking with them!

Amazing organization! I have booked them many times for the families I work with and the teachers are always great. The kids and caregivers always have so much fun together when Yoga Buggy comes.

Yoga Buggy taught a few 2 hour workshops over Winter Break at Strathcona Community Centre. The teacher was positive, upbeat, and we will definitely be looking to have them back in the future.
