Hair cut for my daughter with Isabelle was an extremely unpleasant experience and the final result was a disaster… going from a long hair to an “expected to be” shoulder lenght became a much shorter, with a flat and wide base… no layers, no extra attention to details and specific requests, no even bothered to talk and address my questions and requests (like styling at the end) during the appointment. The hair cut was somewhat like a straight trim of about 9 inches from a beautiful hair that may take several years to grow back again. The blow drying didn’t even consider using a hairbrush for styling, only fingers. Absolutely ignored mom’s requests during the appointment. Service, professionalism and skills are not at a senior level as advertised.Deeply disappointed!

Let me start off by saying that the salon is gorgeous and the stylists I’ve dealt with were extremely friendly and welcoming, which makes this review that much more difficult to write.I came in wanting to lighten and brighten up my existing balayage, which is a medium blonde with rose gold tones, and bring it up a little bit closer to my roots. I also expressed that I wanted a “shadow root” close to my natural colour for low maintenance purposes. This is a style I’ve had for over 7 years now and I have had it done at other salons and even at home myself without any issues. I just figured this is a routine touch up for me, but this is where I’m wrong.I showed a photo of what I wanted to the first stylist that worked on my hair as well as describing in detail what I wanted. But as soon as she started applying the bleach, I knew she hadn’t listened. I’ve never had a balayage applied at a salon the same way that traditional highlights were done. Figuring that she would go in with a darker dye at the roots later to achieve the effect I wanted, I stayed quiet. After the service was done, there was no “shadow root”. Just bleach applied close to the root that looked like grown out highlights - not what I had asked for at all. I left the salon thinking this didn’t look so bad. However, upon a closer look at the work that was done once I was in my car, it is clear that the roots where the bleach was applied appeared brassy, with blunt horizontal lines. And my ends were over processed. The colour of my hair was almost green. And while it was explained to me that she didn’t think she could get my hair as light as I wanted, I also didn’t expect the colour to be so muddy. Once I washed my hair, there was at least 6 different tones in there and the ends of my hair felt like straw.It was so bad that I ended up reaching out to the salon looking for a resolution, which is something I’ve never done before. They contacted me within 48 hours offering to have one of their senior stylists fix up my hair. I happily agreed to this, which in hindsight was a huge mistake. While the senior stylist did lighten the top half of my hair and the colour looked more even, it still isn’t the colour I asked for nor was it a balayage with a shadow root. You can clearly see where the bleach was applied in a blunt horizontal line in many places and I’m just honestly baffled. Not only that, due to the top half of my hair being severely damaged, there’s a ton of breakage and the bottom layers, which was not colour corrected by the second stylist, is clearly visible with all the uneven tones.I basically walked away from this experience with damaged hair and having to pay another salon to correct the mistake.Pictures 1-7: After first servicePictures 8-9: After second service

Rhea is amazing and always makes sure my hair turns out exactly as I hope it would! She is very thorough in explaining the process and helps manage my expectations (achieving a pinterest look that may not be attainable for my hair type). Rhea is kind and understands my budget needs and we come up with solutions to fit in my budget. Overall, highly recommend! She is professional, sweet and great at what she does!

Jenn G. has been doing my hair for the past 4 years. She is always very attentive to the health of my hair while still maintaining the blonde I love. Jenn is very careful to achieve my hair goals while staying within my budget, and is honest and realistic about what we can and cannot do. Not only is Jenn a very talented stylist, she's a pleasure to spend time with during the service. I get compliments on my hair wherever I go and I am always sure to recommend Jenn. You won't be disappointed!

I've been a loyal Salon Cordeiro client for years and years now and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair. Melissa is the bomb. All staff are thoroughly trained and knowledgeable. I've had a level 1 stylist do my hair and a level 5...both were phenominal. Highly recommend this place.

I never write reviews but I thought I should share my experiences. I’ve gone to this salon a couple times over the past years. Every-time I go it ends up being over 500$ for simple highlights. My hair is also very short so there is no need for highlights to be this much money. Last time I got my hair done here was about a month ago and I spent 550$ and ended up hating my hair. I asked for bright blonde and it’s orange so now I am going somewhere else to get it re done and the place i’m going won’t even be close to the price i’ve paid at this salon. I am super disappointed every single time. They rack up the prices and don’t even do a good job. I will never be going here again.

Horrible experience with Mickey. There was definitely a gap in listening, communication and customer service skills.I had a cut and highlights. Brought a picture, asked for warm toned color, golden/strawberry blonde- to blend with my current grown out color. I received ashy cool tones which don’t blend in. Nothing like my picture or what I have.I am also a PWD, I mentioned multiple times of injuries and being disabled— yet J was asked to stand for my haircut. I stood briefly, thinking she only meant for the initial chop, but then she asked me to stand again to complete the cut. I explained that I can’t do that, but she argued with me, pressing me about my disability limits! I was mortified and shocked and humiliated. I’ve never been asked to stand for any hair cut ever before, so I’m definitely confused about that. She also had me slouching, and laying back at the sink without any towel padding my neck for extended amounts of time, nothing like what a normal service has ever been like for me. I’ve been getting the same highlights for 15+ years.
