Sports Card Check-Swing
A wonderful place to indulge your inner child, no matter what age you are!! They have an impressive collection of trading card games, collector memorabilia, comic books, graphic novels, tons of accessories, and anything else you can imagine!! As well they have a fantastic area for playing trading card games, which is literally 2 steps away from the food court of place portobello. A hidden gem, but a must visit!!

Card selection could be better. There were no boosters of the latest pokemon card set, and very few boosters left in general

It's not bad but not great. Great place to look for comics, owner is very accommodating and the staff is funny if not a bit morbid and a tad cynical. They also sell product various card games however they favour Magic The Gathering.

Great ambiance, used to come here for Football/Baseball cards but I recently stopped collecting because I was wasting money. I'm now into MTG so I'll be coming here every now and then for sleeves/boxes. The staff is very kind, just be polite and respectful and you'll be treated the same. I shot the breeze with one of them and they have great humor. Nice place to suit your comics/trading card game needs! :)Ps their West Island Fire sauce has gotta be the best homemade spicy sauce like ever, it's actually my favorite for chicken aside of Sriracha. 10/10 great sauce. :)

Fairly large store with a wide range of items fot any collector (cards, comics, board games, etc). Some of prices are pretty steep, but it's fairly reasonable considering the value and rarity of some of these items.I'd recommend it to any collector looking for something specific and wanting to look at an item before they buy as opposed to online stores.

It's a great place. The sales person was useful for explaining the difference with each card protector and deck box. I recommend it for sure. The reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is simply because for the price, they beat for sure the big market, but not some other similar store in La Prairie.

(Pls read the update down below)Really good with sports cards and comics but so so in Pokémon cardsUpdate: I went there for another 3 times but the service started slaking for some reason. The service man started giving an attitude even when I spent a lot on accessories for trading cards. The first time I went it was the same but y’a just don’t realize that quickly but until you go there more often, your going to understand what I’m talking about.

Excellent service, very friendly and informative staff, Huge collection of comic books, and a fair amount of MTG and Pokemon TCG cards. Also there are board games and table top games, would recommend!
