They do a decent job, but … the man that does nails there, I think the owner… is not very friendly …. Not welcoming at all, you can tell he hates what he does, like it shows !! Also, he’s pretty rough, tugs rough on your hands then tells u to relax …I have went there’ a couple times over the last 6 years… each time I have had the man, he’s always been like that, it made me a little uncomfortable and awkward … gave him a tip and he never said thank you, just “yeah”, I just sat there in silence and focused on “relaxing my hands” so they wouldn’t be tugged on roughly …

I love the set Q gave me this past Monday (June 12th)She did a good job. Unfortunately today one of my nails broke off, and I went to get it fixed,I don’t know his name but the service & response I received from him was deplorable.I found him rude, unprofessional and hostile.The photo with rhinestones on the nail is Q’s work. The other is the “fixed” nail.The ombré is hardly an ombré, the Apex is non existent, the shaping and length doesn’t even match, it’s not even the same colour and there is flooding coming out of both sides.The proper way to fix a nail is to completely take off. All of the acrylic lay down your nail tip and repeat original process.I also paid $133 for the original set so I assume that the same amount of effort would go into fixing the nail.Acrylic sets should not break off the first week you get them.Like I said, I really enjoyed Q’s work and all the ladies there, however, due to this experience, I can say that I will not be returning.*ADDED*It is insanely unprofessional to have YOUR CHILDREN running around the shop, grabbing the acrylic powders and touching the tools when he would get up.Definition of a CHOP. SHOP.

Vernon crystal nails has very kind employees who help you with the service you desire. They care for you in a very efficient and attentive way. Would recommend!

Another amazing set of nails done at city nails, I can bring in ANY photo and they will mimic it EXACTLY. I was Just sad crystal wasn’t there to do my cuticle oil. Such sweet kids, I love coming to my appointment and then being there. Such a family atmosphere ♥️

Not from the area, needed a nail fill. Kaiu did exactly what I asked for, she sure has an eye for perfection .. left with my nails “on-point” ✨It was such a great job, my husband and I went back the next day and had pedicures..very pleased with how thorough they are and we didn’t feel rushed..also a nice added touch at the end with some hot stones! If I could give zero stars, I would. They are RUDE & unkind. I gave them the benefit of the doubt after being treated poorly once. They did it again. Went with a friend & we were BOTH treated disgracefully. My friend is the kindest person & never reacts to people’s rudeness. She was appalled. I had only gone again bc they were friends with one of my extended family members. Never again. The manicures we received were way sub-par to boot. Not sure how they’re still in business… read on below. This is a common complaint. Just awful.

I don’t like the service. They do not ask if you like the shape or the colour. Bad customer service too very rude if you say anything. Not worth it . Also they charge extra for nail polish. Bathroom sink is disgusting. The employee need to wear gloves or wash their hands. They do not sanitize the clippers or anything. DON’T GO. Worst experience ever .
