The worst experience ever!! Took close to 1 yr to get my perscription correct, and that was bc I finally went to a eye Dr.

Yes 3 pairs for $500 is a great price, but they do not test your eyes the way an optometrist does. I have 3 pairs of glasses that the prescription is not right. When you arrive to pick up your glasses, they give you a card to read. I told them I could only read to a certain line. He told me that's as far down as I need to. Excuse me! I could read the bottom line with my old 3 year old glasses.Lesson learned. You get what you pay for.

By happenstance I needed a quick glasses repair and this place was right nearby where it happened, and they were more than willing to help me out and provide excellent service. Very nice staff easy to talk with, very personable, felt no pressure while was in there to purchase anything or do any of their services. They have a nice selection of frames and styles, highly recommend!

I got pop up ads from 3-4-1 on my phone as I played a game. After a few, I looked at the site. And happened to be in the area a few weeks later, so I stopped in. A simple store, Covid protocols well done. I indicated that I just wanted to look, and was left alone for a few minutes....then a young tall chap in snappy trouser and shoes approached me. Well, turns out he's the owner. Gage knows his stuff, was super professional, and I chose 3 pairs of glasses. These 3 with high index lenses, coatings and transition or sunglass tint cost LESS than a single pair of glasses I bout 2 years ago from another place. Picked up the glasses today, and I am VERY pleased. They look great, lenses perfect (he upped my reading RX), and very good customer care. HIGHLY recommend Gage and his services. Don't be fooled by what you see on the shelves, Only one pair I picked was on display, the others come from the back where he they have many more pairs. Exceptional pricing, kind and thoughtful service, and I don't feel gouged for needing a glasses and wanting a pair (or more) that look good. Excellent business model. Wish them GREAT success. Sorry, too shy to post pics, as I hate selfies! Maybe they should take pics as you leave with great glasses....sorry, that's a pun. Have been happy at other places, but the costs not sensible. This makes sense.

The staff are great but beware, the cost of a pair of glasses increases dramatically with frames and the coatings you add. Also, product delivery time with my recent purchase was over 3 weeks! But I was very satisfied with my glasses when they finally arrived.

Our 87 year old neighbor was recently placed into a care home. We recieved a call on Sunday from a care aide that Joe had broken his glasses and that without them he could not see well. We went to the home and upon entering his room he did not greet us as usual. I asked him if he was OK and he responded by telling us that he did not know it was us that came in his room till we spoke. We had no clue his vision was so poor. We went to every eye glass place in Abbotsford that was open on a Sunday and none of them had frames that Joe's lenses would fit in. We went to the Abbotsford Great Glasses Store and the person working there named Tammy was very helpful. She literally tried 40 different frames and when none of them fit she told us that their Langley store had a machine that could cut down Joe's lenses to fit any new frame. Tammy called the Langley store and confirmed that they would do this for us and explained Joe's situation. It was late in the day and Tammy asked the Langley store if they would wait for us which they did. Thank you Tammy for your EXCELLENT service and all of your help, we really appreciated it. We drove out to Langley and got there literally before the store closed. We were helped by Karlee. We apologized for coming so late and she was so kind to us. She insisted on still helping us even though it was 5 pm, closing time. She literally stayed after hours to find frames for Joe and then cut down the lenses to size and installed them. By the time we had left it was 5:45 pm. We felt bad that we were there past closing but the entire time Karlee was upbeat, polite and friendly telling us that she was so happy to be helping Joe. Karlee, we thank you so VERY MUCH for your OUTSTANDING service and help. Your company is so lucky to have you working for them. We wish you could see how happy Joe was when we brought him his glasses when we got back to Abbotsford. We would also like to thank Leon, Karlee's coworker, for staying late and not complaining once about having been kept past closing. This entire experience could not have been any better UNTIL we went to pay for Joe's new frames and the cutting down of his lenses. Karlee and Leon REFUSED to allow us to pay!! They insisted that they and their company were happy to be able to help Joe. INCREDIBLE!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for being so kind and helping Joe. Although the price for three pairs seems like a good deal, they didn’t even know about the sizing. I ended up with two pairs that are two sizes too big for me. I also was a little unhappy with the designs and selection.

I am not even willing to rate this business in Walnut Grove.One of the staffs was very rude with no customer service skills. I went there to fix the arm of my glasses today. Two men, in their forties and fifties, told me that i can buy any new frames which my lenses can fit in for $50 instead of fixing the broken arm. I picked the new frames, it was the right fit for my lenses with no adjustment needed as they said. The older guy asked me to pay $100, “cause you are getting new frames “. And when I asked the reason, he told me” you are being cheeky”.I was shocked and didn’t even know what to say. I told them that you gave me this quote for any frames with no adjustments and that if I had known the price, I would just fix the arms.They talked to each other at the back of the store and told me to pay the amount we agreed.Zero customer service skills and not respectful. I would never enter that store again and ask you not to.

Outstanding attention from staff. Great products at fantastic pricing.. AND I love the triplet box for my glasses
