Dr. Joy Muncey

Great doctor! I went to her as a kid growing up.However my recent experience with the receptionist was terrible.I booked to get an approval for a blood test and she started playing doctor and said I shouldn't have booked an appointment and wait till I'm 40 for a blood test. I managed to get through for an appointment and Dr. Muncy said its good I came in for an appointment before I get older. Which makes me wonder why the receptionist has say over that. I just go to walk in clinics now because of that scenario.

Well Health Fleetwood, part of this horrible network of walk-in clinics, has changed the name to one of its decent doctors, Joy Muncey, presumably to hide its previous rating at 2.1 out of 5 under the well health title. Nevertheless, its receptionists--pretty much every single one except one or two--are still behaving like queens or something. Unless you have no other choice, I would strongly urge you not to even consider this place, simply the worst!

Absolutley uninformed doctor who has obviously not kept up to date on novel effective uses for standard prescription medications. Reception staff was also unwilling to help educate the doctor on the matter.Wasted my valuable time booking an appointment for nothing, when her more educated peers have no issue fulfilling this prescription.Avoid.

Whoever the receptionist they have there at the moment refused to set up an appointment with my mother for the entirety of next month then hung up on her. My mom has gone there for over a decade and now can't see her doctor

My virtual phone appointment with Dr. Muncey was excellent. She is knowledgeable, amiable, and efficient. Highly recommend.

Gave me an appointment when my regular doctor had COVID. So appreciated their ability to give me a same day appointment. Thank you!

Dr. Joy was nice the first time I booked her for prescription so I booked her again for renewal. However, the receptionist/assistant is kinda rude. I had lab test and the laboratory sent the results to their clinic so I scheduled an appointment to read the results, which they canceled my appointment. Called the clinic and the assistant keeps on telling me that they didn't receive the lab results and that Dr. Joy is not my family doctor so the laboratory shouldn't sent it to her. I asked her to just send the result to me so I can find another doctor but she keeps on repeating on a high voice that they don't have it. Will never book appointment with her again.

Condescending and rude receptionist called to ban me from booking virtual appointments out of the blue after calling Dr Muncey a few times about my medication. She seemed nice and understanding so I booked her every few months, and I was just looking for a semblance of continuity of care while I’m STILL on the waitlist for a family doctor. The public health nurse and the mental health intake centre thought it would be a good idea to forward her report to the office that had been discussing medication with me for a while. Now I have to start over AGAIN, but this is probably for the best because any doctor that would abandon a patient when they need help the most isn’t worth anyone's time. Heartless, super great way to honour your oath.

Very unprofessional and rude from the start. I booked an online phone call appointment to review an MRI I had at the hospital the day prior. The second she picked up the phone she was harsh and aggressive, as if she wanted to get me off the phone. I tried to clarify with her several times as to why she wasn't able to request my MRI results to review them with me and she kept on saying, we don't do that." I then wanted clarity on whether this was her practices policy or a law that no doctor besides the prescribing doctor can review the results

Nice doctor, but I feel they're too rushy and don't take much time to make a connection with their patients.
