A great community green space in the Monopoly neighborhood of Amherstburg in South Western Ontario. Surprisingly and to what would seem to defy logic and common sense, #SaveJackPurdiePark is at risk because a short sighted town counsel looking for funds want to sell the park or part thereof, to establish a seniors living space far from services.

You know something? It's a big, open, beautiful, extremely underused park. But it's a really nice place to just hang out and sometimes that's okay too.

As the little trees grow, there will be lots more shade. This is a lovely park for dog walks, toddlers, and big kids.

This park should reach it's full potential when the town goes through with the plans. It's been 30 years and they've done barely anything so far.
