Baker Hotel
This is not a 4 star hotel as listed on their website. It's tired and in need of an refresh. It's also not the cleanest in that there was a lot of dust and hair on the bathroom heat register so it makes one wonder how clean the floors are. There are some good points: hotel staff are very friendly and the view from our room was nice. For the price of the room, we wouldn't stay here again.

I had a good experience at Hotel Broker with the breathtaking river view. The room had convenient amenities. Although I had hoped for a room with two queen beds for four people, I requested the necessary arrangements and collected the amenities myself from the hotel reception. The hotel also provided electric chargers for EVs. Thanks to the accommodating staff, I had a satisfying stay at Hotel Broker. I recommend Hotel Broker.

Nice location. Nice room.When we booked, we mention that we had 2 great Danes and when we arrived, they seemed surprised that we had 2 big dogs. Beside that, thumbs up

We came with our dog and it was a good value for the buck. Goodlocation, really friendly staff. The gym is actually quite nice! The rooms are spacious and clean. The cleaning staff forgot to replace the complementary coffee but the staff at the reception were super friendly and gave us some for coffee the morning. Big plus that is has a laundry room (coin operated). The only draw back is the room view to the parking lot… Not that romantic.

The hotel was more than half empty, and front desk put me exactly where the construction was going on. Noise all the time. No discount for that and no apology. Most importantly, if you're in the hospitality business, it's always good to learn how to smile. It helps sometimes.

Our stay, three nights with our pet dog. While in Gaspé, Quebec. The decision of selecting ‘ocean view’ by the three of us while making the booking was magic! The spacious room with two queen size beds. Had a wonderful view, over looking the birthplace of Canada. Breakfast is not included not an issue. Housekeeping and reception are professional. The staff makes sure you have a comfortable stay. Pet friendly. Bonus!

Hotel was alright not too bad. I understand they are short staffed but the staff isn't friendly. People would leave their mugs etc outside the door of their rooms to have taken away and your return to see all of them there.I'm very disappointed that they don't provide a safe in the rooms or at least mine to keep any important valuables locked away when leaving the room. Found it odd being I've been to a 50$ a night model and they provide nice safes.Rest of the hotel looked nice although I don't appreciate barking dogs but what can you do ?

Looked good when walking in, but… This is not a 4 star hotel, it’s a 3 at most.- No elevator- First time I see a hotel restaurant you have to reserve for, especially when you have a room. Still tables available but you’re told it’s fully booked. No room service offered.- All lamps and alarm clock unplugged, not enough plugs for them and the lamps were dusty- Can’t lay down the bathroom carpet and open the bathroom door; it’s one or the other- No information book in the room. Doesn’t even tell you what time checkout is atIn all, disappointing booking. I’d probably get a better price vs service ratio at a motel.

Last minute need for a room. Baker Hotel was able to help out with a quick 2 night stay. The night staff were very helpful and quickly helped us to secure a room. The room was very clean and everything worked as it should. We even left the ”Do not disturb” sign on the door when we left(by accident) and the hotel staff left us bag outside of our door with a day’s supply of new towels, etc. Beds were very comfortable.Great experience and we will stay there again.
