About the Business
Beaver Mountain | Nova Scotia Parks | Impressive view of Antigonish County and Cape Breton Island. A 6 km (3.5 mi) trail system provides a mix of paved walkways as well as fairly challenging unpaved hills great in winter for cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing. No facilities in winter; parking at the gate only. Located in James River 2.5 km (1.5 mi) south. Exit 30, Highway 104.

Not near what it was years ago, but still a beautiful park and trail. Excellent spot to bring the kids on an easy bike ride around the old camping section, paved road.

Hidden gem close to Riverside speedway follow the road in front of the racetrack, that runs parallel with the highway,right to the top and you ll fund a peaceful beautiful rest spot with bathrooms and walking trails picnic tables...nice view...found it by accident...provincial park

Beautiful park and close to the hwy. Great spot for a picnic during our long road trip. Would definitely go back to spend more time

Beaver Mountain Provincial Park
Only used the park for a quick picnic lunch on our way home to Halifax. Good picnic table setup under roofs (great for rainy days)

Awesome place to snowshoe. Well marked trails and good up and down for exercise. Not very suitable for cross country skiing as they don't have classic style trails groomed. I suppose skate style would be possible. Ample parking and has bathroom facilities near the parking area.Very near Antigonish. Looking forward to biking here in the summer.

Great place to walk or hike with dogs or kids. The first loop is paved and then well maintained hiking loops. Appears to be a former provincial campground.

Great place to get out in nature with the kids! If you plan on going off the paved trail, make sure to wear the right footwear!

Very small paved trail for cyclist. No viewpoints.. it wasnt very interesting. There are better places in nova scotia

Beaver Mountain Provincial Park
Lovely little park area, that leads into various trail branches. Maps along the way let you know where you are. Trails are marked with typical orange markers. There is a short paved circuit as well as longer and slightly steeper wooded circuit. Great for hiking and/or Skiing when weather allows.

Beaver Mountain Provincial Park
Walk can be just simple short walk or decent long walk. Sweet little park with a backwoods type campground in the summer has one set of outhouses and they we're absolutely disgusting someone number 2 all over the women's.
