This place is a mess!Came in Thursday to close my account. And i was told I can only close my account with an advisor and there’s no advisor available for the day. Ok, they took my information, and scheduled for an phone appointment on the next Monday in order to close my account. I didn’t realize it’s a phone appointment, so i came in Monday early afternoon, saw their “brach manager”, the manager confirmed me again that there will be an advisor calling me Monday or Tuesday to close my account.Now it’s Tuesday after 5pm. No one called me yet, and when i called them earlier, I can’t reach anyone!For a simple process to close my account I have to go through so much hassle!

Wanted to give it a try and move a small portion of my assets there but was declined at the stage of even opening a bank account.All these nice posters and always smiling ceo is a pure joke.The bank if you can even call it a bank lol, is a circus

I am currently sitting in the waiting room at the downtown branch trying to get my account closed. It's been 45 minutes and there has been no progress. Originally I tried closing my account by calling but the customer service does not pick up the phone or respond to voicemails. After two weeks of calling the voicemail the mailbox is now full and won't take any more calls. There's bad customer service and then there's this. I don't understand why a bank would be this bad seemingly on purpose. And they charge A LOT for the privilege

If I could put -5 star I would. I wouldn’t recommend this bank to my worst ennemi. I asked to see an advisor for the longest time, and they said they would call back to set up an appointment,which they never did. And I called back again and again for them to tell me the same thing. It’s been Over a few week now. Terrible service with clueless staff.

Dear Complain Resolution Manager,I am writing to express my deep frustration and dissatisfaction with the level of service that I have received from your bank. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve an issue with my account, I have been stuck in a frustrating circle of inaction and unfulfilled promises for several months now.My husband and I visited your bank branch located in (1360 René-Lévesque Blvd W, Montreal, Quebec H3G 0E7) on October 5, 2022, to open a new account and transfer all of our financial work to your bank. During our visit, we were informed about an offer to open a new account and receive $300 after completing certain steps. We were promised to receive the $300 within three months after completing the required criteria, but it has been over six months and we have received nothing.We have tried numerous times to contact the bank, both by visiting the branch and calling customer service, but we have received no assistance or resolution. Each time we are given an appointment to speak with someone, but we never receive a call or any follow-up.This experience has been incredibly frustrating and time-consuming, and it has left me with no choice but to consider closing both my account and my husband's account with your bank. If your bank cannot fulfill such a simple promise to its clients, how can I trust it with my money and continue to do business with it?I first raised the issue with a customer service representative several months ago, but they were unable to resolve the problem. Since then, I have been passed around from department to department, each time being promised that someone would be able to help me. Unfortunately, each time I have been left disappointed, frustrated and with no resolution to my problem.I have spent countless hours on the phone, explaining my issue over and over again to different representatives, only to be told that they are unable to help me. It is incredibly disheartening to feel like my concerns are not being taken seriously and that my time and effort are being wasted.As a loyal customer of your bank, I had hoped that my concerns would be treated with the utmost urgency and that a resolution to my issue would be found quickly. However, the lack of action and communication has left me feeling disillusioned with your bank and its customer service.

This bank god save me u call them every day but they never respond to u for months. Such a lazy bank I have never seen in this world.Think twice before dealing with this bank for mortgage the financial advisor change every week and u get stuck for any help it's a nightmare.

Do not trust this bank. During the covid restricted time their agents have continuously lied to me.They claim to follow your directions but they do what THEY want not what you want. Go anywhere else but Laurentian. I only found out about this when I received the written contract which did not match what was agreed upon at all.Another dishonest tactic they use is to lie about checking into something. It is all to delay in the hopes that you will give up or let the issue slide.Don't lose your money and time as I did. If there were an option to give no stars or negative stars - I would have chosen that.

Horrible customer service. Always changing councillors but they never get around to contact you to tell you.When you call their branch number they make you wait over 25 minutes on hold before talking to someone. If you only have a mortgage they cannot help you so you must then leave a message to hopefully get a call back from your new councillor.

I opened up my first bank account when this bank was still known as The City & District Bank in 1981 and throughout the years I have seen their services dwindle making it much more difficult for direct discourse with any of the Laurentian Bank’s representatives. I waited for days for my representative to contact me back, but even as I call now it’s still the same message on her answering machine as it was last week stating that she’ll be back two days ago.I regret ever trusting the services of the Laurentian bank and now hope that you not make the same mistake in using their services.0/5

for a simple process (close my account ),i have to go through so much hassle and complications. I spent my time to read the reviews and carefully followed your instructions to go to your worthless website. I made several calls , came to Rene Levesque location ,and was told to go home bc the staff is busy, wait for phone call which never comes. you can't resolve those simple issues. Why don't you hire more people
