La Diperie
A fair choice of tasty desserts. Decent ice creat with great selections. I had the La Fiesta (soft serve with blue dip and sprinkles) with hit the spot.Minus points because1) I came here with some family members once which was about an hour before it said they closed but when we got there the staff informed me they were already closed2) They are kind of slow. The line wasn’t too long but some people left because the service was taking too long3) I wish the dip flavours were clearly shown on the menu on the windowOther than that, it’s good place for some desserts especially for those with a late night sweet tooth.Tips:1) For those late night cravings maybe call or check ahead to check to see if they’re actually open.2) You can pre-order for pick up via the QR code.3) know what you want before you get to the front of the line.

Good ice cream shop right in the heart of downtown. Stopped here for desert while walking to the car after having dinner at the CN tower. It’s a very small hallway like place with very little room to stand in line. It shares the location with a burger spot. There was only 1 girl working on a Saturday night & it took a really long time to be able to order. I got the chocolate cherry amaretto ice cream with a crème brûlée “dip” & peanuts on top. I originally wanted a dipped cone but was told I couldn’t get that. So I had to settle for it in a cup; but it was still good. The ice cream had nice chunks of cherry & chocolate in there. The dip didn’t taste much like crème brûlée though.

Will Durant once said: “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit”During the past months, after my long Sunday run, it became a habit to take my little pooch Ori and go for a walk to the fantastic La Diperie on John street. I normally get a peanut butter chocolate chunk cookie and Ori gets their version of a Puppuccinos. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. They offer amazing desserts including finger licking donuts. I only know this because they gave me a full box for my own staff.Thank you La Diperie for achieving “excellence”

Had a long layover at the airport, so decided to take the train downtown and check out a few places. Stopped at La Diperie, close to the CN Tower and tried the Madeleine Oreo ice cream. YUM!! It was super delicious! Thank you!

Mmmmm I have got mixed review about this place. The place is a very normal ice cream shop. Nothing fancy about the menu. All the recipes are easy and can be made from the frozen ice cream stored in huge home depot like containers (but thats okay, nothing bad about that). I got soft serve coated with dark chocolate and turned out to be great.I personally like ice cream which are freshly made, organic, fresh gelato or something with a “fresh” factor in them. Hence 4 stars.

The LaDiperie seems like a great idea. Boy was it slow to order. There were two people in front of me and one of the people pre-ordered and it took about 15 to 20 minutes to be able to order.I wanted to try something different and ordered a 6-in chocolate mousse cake. I didn't realize it would come completely frozen. The concept looks good but it seems to be quite complex to get a couple of ice creams ordered, dipped, toppings put on. I am not sure if I'm going to return next time I'm in Toronto.

We came to Toronto to visit family and go to the Ripley’s Aquarium and we stopped here after to get some lunch and dessert and this place is absolutely amazing! The staff are extremely kind and really make the experience of coming here so great! Definitely recommend coming here! The food is amazing as well!!

Nice little spot. The layout is awkward if there’s more than one customer especially if you need a few minutes to walk through their plethora of options before deciding. Great ice cream though, and the speciality cones are massive. There’s about a dozen chairs to sit outside which is nice.

I visited the John St. location of La Diperie recently and I was very impressed the quality and service from the staff! The staff work in tandem with their ďuties at South Street Burger but the service still remains professional and excellent!I tried the new Belgian Waffles recently and they were quite good! The soft serve was refreshing and creamy to pair well with the waffles! The toppings were solid to provide texture in every bite.Overall, the staff and service at this location are quite good and I can't wait for my next visit!
