The Octagon
We came here for dinner during the week. This is my second time coming here. The restaurant is bright and warm with lovely wood throughout. The tables are all comfortable, many of them round for larger groups. The service was excellent. We shared a Caesar salad and the Chateaubriand. Everything was so delicious. Their garlic bread is also truly amazing! This is a great place to celebrate a special occasion. The prices are not cheap, but it was well worth it!

What an amazing place, food, service and attentive staff. Being disabled sometimes doesn’t allow me to be comfortable in certain restaurants or staff don’t know how to assist me. The Octagon, from the moment we called to make reservations till the moment we left the restaurant we received nothing but professional service. The food was cooked to perfection and all ingredients were fresh. We will be returning to the Octagon.

Atmosphere is great, service is top top, including taking your coat and helping you to put ot back.- They are pretty relaxed with COVID-19, they don't check ID with the proof of vaccination.- Food was good. I ordered Shrimp cocktail which in my opinion was too much especially if you are the only one who eats shrimp. The shrimps were huge and its cold with no sauce (you dip in the sauce) so it was very hard to eat it myself. I ended up eating 1 lol. Make sure you order this starter only if another is sharing with you.We ordered cocktail shrimp, caprese salad, baby back ribs, pepper steak, creme brulee

I paid $140 for This meal wasn't even warm or tasty! I was told and convinced by the chef to order this, which was more expensive than all the menu options as a buffalo steak, and they didn't even bother to add some side dishes or vegetables!At the time of entrance I was asked by 4 different people if I’m alone and they all got surprised and it made me embarrassed. If entrance of single individuals is prohibited you can mention it in the website. I would NEVER go back to such a place.

I think the service and the food was just OK and the scallop personally, I think don’t it worth for $60, i excepted big and juicy scallops… but this is so dry and salty.. really not recommend

Prime rib was ordered medium rare, came out a bit undercooked, not very flavorful, for $60 was expecting perfection or at least memorable. Was also 1/3 fat . Did not give table bread, had to ask. Escargot was expensive and very small pieces. Seems like Waiters were waiting for our table as it was getting busy and felt a bit rushed. I think Keg much better value and just as good quality if not better.

The restaurant is octagon shaped, which I find really cool. The meals were delicious, however side presentations could have been better. Having one scoop of mashed potato on a separate plate looked very cheap. Other than that, great experience.

The Octagon Steakhouse in Thornhill surpasses expectations with exceptional service. Their bone-in rib steak is an absolute delight, reaching the pinnacle of excellence. A must-visit for steak enthusiasts!

The Octagon
This steak house has been set in a historic charming house. I haven't been back since COVID and feel like returning home. Everything has been kept well. Service and food are great. I had a wonderful evening there.
