Silver Willow Sporting Club

We had a business planning day and skeet shooting yesterday at Silver Willow by Carstairs, AB, and what a great setup and group of people. Our hostess was fantastic and our shooting guide was top-notch. I'd never fired a shotgun before, but our guide was excellent at getting us up to speed.They have a sign on their door that they will respect people's human rights by not asking about people's medical decisions, including whether they are v@**'d. I highly recommend them!

This is a fantastic place. Coordinated a group event with Jessica who was very kind, responsive, and helpful for planning. When we got there we were greeted by Pat who was just as kind and helpful. You could tell the staff really care about the facility. She mentioned the efforts made by the owners for a sustainable place which was really impressive. Then we were coached and guided by Doug who was patient with a bunch of first time shooters and helped us with great tips.I was so impressed with the place and so happy with how much fun we had. Definitely recommend.

Best sport shooting facility hands down! Large challenging courses, plus excellent instructors for those that need some guidance, plus super great staff and an amazing club house. Highly recommend.

First time members this year. Friendly staff and very helpful as we are new to the sport. A nice 45 min drive from Calgary. Great facilities with lots of shooting options.

Took clients here over stampede and couldn't be happier. They set us up for BBQ following our skeet shooting session.

Amazing layouts for sporting clays. Great for experienced shooters and anyone wanting to give it a try.Not the cheapest but value for the variety of targets and the facilities.

All I can say is wow it was not what I was expecting at all! You drive out in the country roads not. Expecting much and then you turn on the road to the club.When you first pull up and go into the main club house it is like being at a country resort . Very professional lay out much like a high end golf club but instead of clubs and golf gear it is lined shooting gear for skeet shooting from high end to mid range shotguns clothing and shooting glasses,also very relaxed and inviting.Glasses were the reason, I was there one of the owners Josh Day greeted me and made me feel like a customer!I cannot say that about many establishments these days . I was there for shooting glasses NOT for skeet but for Archery Josh took the time to help me pick out which glasses worked best with my type of archery,He made me feel he was happy to help and he took the time to go though all the options no rushing or pressure at all . Also my wife is nervous around guns but by the time we were leaving she wanted to sign up for skeet shooting classes that alone says a lot about Silver Willow I cannot not recommend it enough top notch all the way .Mark Washtock

Very well set up courses and friendly staff. I enjoyed going to Silver willow for more than 10 years. I strongly recommend if you want to have a pleasant shooting experience
