Not a tourist site but this building had a lot of character. There's many signs outside with Nelson Mandela on it. I like the stone work and the aged feeling this building had. There's a fountain off to the side where you can sit and admire it.

The building of the Service des Finances (Montreal Financial Services) is one of the most visible buildings in the old part of the city. It sits on top of a hill at the same height as the Hotel de Ville (City Hall). Architecturally, it's part of a number of Montreal buildings that can be identified as Beaux Arts, a very popular style in vogue around the end of the nineteenth and the beginning of the twentieh century.

It's super nice to sit on the terrace in the front, there's chairs and tables! What a surprise for the city's financial services building.
