(Even let my daughter steal" candy lol ) very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Very well mannered even when I didn't understand something they'd break it down for me. My dealings with a funeral service in Regina left me feeling distrustful and taken advantage of. The total cost for the services I requested was double the advertised amount, and the vague statement of costs was written on a form from a different company entirely. Who was I really dealing with? What had I paid for? After leaving the funeral home and rereading the contract"

I was worried and nervous about the new experience i have to deal with in death. Upon entering Alternatives Funeral Home, i instantly felt better. They have a cozy environment and unlike any funeral home i have ever seen, there was no religious furnishings or music. This helped me alot mentally to not be bombarded with something that myself nor my deceased friend believed in. Kevin is truly a great person, and very helpful in anything i needed. They offer different options that no other funeral home could. They are the most reasonable cost for what you want in the area by far. Kevin is a caring person and will make sure he can help you in any way that you need. They don't have hidden costs and will not charge you for what you dont need. If i ever need cremation services again i will not hesitate to call. Thank you everyone that works there.

It was my mom's wish for us to use Alternatives and I'm happy that we did. The company was professional and top notch. We dealt with Brent and he was very helpful and accommodating with our every request.My only wish with using this company, was that I wish they'd had a place or room that we could have rented for an additional fee to hold the service. My mom was not religious so we didn't want a church service. We had to do some scrambling to find a hall, and in wedding season, that's not easy. I would have been willing to pay a little extra to not have to search for a place with comfortable chairs, a podium, TV and sound system ready to go.Other than that they have very reasonable rates and I recommend them 100%.

Brent was compassionate and understanding of what our needs were as we went through this difficult time. Service was top notch at very reasonable prices.

Straightforward, excellent service at a very reasonable price. Staff is very pleasant but without the syrupy fluff, we liked that.

I don't have a lot of experience with funeral homes...fortunately...however, I had always heard about some horror stories. This place came recommended from the palliative care unit nurses at Pasqua hospital when my beloved father passed away. I spoke to Brent, who was very kind and extremely patient and respectful. I never felt that he was trying to sell anything or push us in any direction. He wanted to know what we wanted and only offered ideas when we asked for them. He went above and beyond to help us with listing the obituary on time for the weekend newspaper and also listing it on their website, even though he didn't get paid for any of that. He even called to make sure we didn't miss the deadline. Whenever I texted him about anything he responded immediately and made sure that my concerns or questions were addressed.This is the kind of person you want to deal with when you are going through a traumatic event and having to think about funerals or cremation. A big thank you to Brent and his team for not adding to the stress of an already stressful situation.
