Kevin did wonders. I dropped off a rangefinder with oily blades and a Mamiya lens with shutter timing issues. He got both of them fixed in a timely manner, kept me updated via email throughout the whole process, and charged a great price. He is very knowledgeable about what he does, I will be recommending him to all my fellow photographers.

I have an Camera my father bought me in the 80’s. It needed some serious work. Kevin was fantastic, located the necessary parts and returned the camera in way better condition than I gave it to him. He has helped me twice with issues with my Olympic Trip 35 camera and both times the service was above and beyond. If you’re in the Vancouver area there is nobody better than him! 10/10 recommend!

Kevin brought my 1963 Konica Auto S rangefinder back to life! All mechanical parts now work fluidly and he even filled in the fading lettering as a bonus. Was even kind enough to let me know if a minor repair job I had in mind wouldn’t be worth pursuing compared to the price of the camera. Very reasonable rates compared to other local competitors and super quick turnaround time. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get vintage film cameras repaired or restored.

Kevin did magic with my beloved but damaged Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 35mm lens. He not only expertly mended the defective aperture mechanism, but gave it thorough cleaning and tuning as well. Now it works like new and is ready to serve me for decades to come. There was no issue with shipping even though I live in Toronto and his shop is in Vancouver. Shipping was quick, safe and all arrived in good time. Communicating with him via email was prompt and gentlemanly (are we allowed to say that anymore?). Anyway, it was a joy dealing with such a skilled and trustworthy craftsman. Highly recommended.

Kevin at Factory Cameras is knowledgable, transparent, fair, and all around wonderful. I had purchased a Minolta X-700 online to discover the ISO dial wasn't working properly. Camtex wanted $65 just to take a look. Kevin fixed the issue in couple of days for less than that. He also followed up a few days later to ensure things were working properly. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Nothing but good has come from Kevin since meeting him, super knowledgeable about cameras and very friendly. I had some issues with my Mamiya m645, the internal light seals were pealing and the shutter curtains was out of sync. He fixed it for a very reasonable price and did a great job. 10/10 would recommend his service to anyone looking to get their camera fixed or serviced! Couldn't be happier with the result!
