Oka National Park

Just prepare for mosquitoes if you are sensible to that. Been there for camping a few times and mosquitoes are an issue for me. Otherwise it's a fine park with a very nice beach.

Bike camping overnight. There were a lot of mosquitos so be prepared. There was also a ban on open fires due to the weather, but that was expected. Nice beaches, one of them is shaker and very shallow for a long stretch. Sand is quite fine.

Meandre 93Chalet was clean and warm. Cooking tools and dish were all provided. They have microwave, toaster and coffee maker&filter. You can park a car right in front of chalet

Honestly one of the best campsites I've been to, and I've been to quite a few. I stayed at a site in the Dunes that had both potable water and electricity, and it was wonderful. Very close to the beach, can easily walk from most campsites. Sites are rocky so it does not get muddy when it rains, with sandier sections to pitch tents so that you are not sleeping on rocks. Close to Montreal, making it easy to access, but still far enough that the proximity is not an issue.

Travel to this beach mainly for camping. This Parc belongs and is maintained to the Quebec government.It has a beach, camping areas for all firms of camping plus bicycle paths. The camping prices are decent. The camping areas have a variety of services such as toilets, showers., etc... Everything is very well maintained and clean.

Very well serviced, camp sites are close to one another so not much privacy, very well serviced, multiple beaches, rentals for bikes, kayaks…etc

We were having such a nice time camping at Oka, and all of a sudden, someone associated with the park came demanding we can not have more than 3 tents in each site. Even though each camp site is for 6 people!!! We were 4 people. 1 couple and 2 single people have 3 small tents for sleeping and 1 kitchen tent. He gave us 45 min to choose one tent and take it down to comply with his role of (max 3 tents). WE TOOK THE KITCHEN TENT DOWN AND HE CAME AGAIN TO CHECK AND TOLD US WE ARE ONLY SUPPOSED TO HAVE 2 SLEEPING TENTS AND 1 KITCHEN AND THAT WE DID NOT COMPLY WITH HIS INSTRUCTION. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!!!! HE KEPT ASKING WHY WE HAVE 3 SLEEPING TENTS AND ABOUT THE RELATIONSHIP OF EACH of us so he can force some people sleeping together!!!! I would really love to get in touch with the management of the facility and see if there is really such an outrageous rule for the camping. I feel my privacy has been violated, and I felt distress the entire remainder of time there.

Camp sites are great. One of the few SEPAQ dog friendly areas. Central bathrooms/showers can be far from the sites. They are also not cleaned enough to keep up with the beach goers.
