I have taken one lesson so far, and I already notice a huge improvement in my playing. Maryse is a bit non orthodox, but in the best possible way, and was exactly what I was looking for in a piano instructor.

Absolutely the best piano teacher you could ever hope to find. Maryse very quickly determined exactly what my daughter needed to improve her skills and didn't waste time assigning pieces just because they were normally assigned for her grade level. She went from beginner to advanced in barely 3 years. You will be amazed at the speed at which you can progress under her expert tutelage. Highly recommended. Definitely the best of the best.

I had to move out of Vancouver much earlier than expected, so unfortunately I didn't get as many voice lessons with Maryse as I would have liked. She is an amazing teacher, and I highly recommend her to anyone serious about learning and improving.

I started taking vocal lessons with Maryse in 2019, ever since I have seen a steady and remarkable improvement in my voice. She effortlessly got me through my register breaks, expanded/strengthened my upper range, improved my chest voice, and overall resonance. Now I'm able to sing pieces I never thought imaginableI have tried a few other teachers before her , but none comes close!Do yourself a favor and take lessons with her, put in the work and have patience.You will be glad you did.!

Maryse Schembri was my piano teacher from 2012 to 2015, I was 28 when I started taking lessons. I had to stop taking piano classes with her when I moved out from Vancouver...I never played piano before or very little and Maryse really took me from beginner level to a place where I could enjoy and pick up almost any piece to study which is exactly what I was hoping for.After a 2-3 years, and seeing her about one hour/week, I can now play classical piano pieces such as Mozart Sonata K332, Chopin Valse brillante" Op. 34 No. 2 in A Minor
