To start the night out server told us they were trying to cut him. He was ok not great attentiveness but was very polite and friendly. We had two children with us that ordered pasta and me and my wife decided we would split a few appetizers, can I just say we did not order any mains.The kids food came out quick. However our appetizers took forever to the point we're my kids had finished there pasta before our appetizers came out, now from my experience in this industry an appetizer should not take 30 min to come out, not only that but any large restaurant chain usually shoots for an 18 or 22 minute time for a main course item. If there was a mistake or an issue that's ok it happens but tell your customer. We had zero communication with anyone over this, there was no table touch from a manager, no explanation. On top of this I'm not sure if the Korean nachos are supposed to be totally cold including the chicken on them? Is this a thing. Have we given up on preparing good food to well paying customers. I will also say I have not visited a jack Astor's in some time but I feel as if the menu is very simple maybe even a little limited, but that being said if that is done on purpose I would hope your intentions were to prepare super fresh and good tasting food, it's unfortunate this was not my experience this time.

The staff here ate simply amazing. Extremely helpful. Especially for my dad who is disabled.I ordered the steak and was impressed. It was a huge steak, well seasoned and cooked perfectly.My son loves their honey garlic wings.Their garlic bread pan loaf.... I could eat 10 of them.Thank you for making my Mother's Day so lovely.

their burgers are always delicious & char grilled to T!! the yellowfin ahi poké was so tasty and they put a nice amount of tuna on the side your dish, plus that tasty salad.plenty to take home for later.service awesome from start to finish.

We had a reso for 9 and we showed up a little early. They were ready for us and the food was excellent and our server Taylor was fantastic. 10/10 would recommend.

I recently dined at Jack Astor's restaurant in Ancaster and had an exceptional experience. Our server was truly amazing, especially considering we had a large party with eight kids. He effortlessly accommodated all of our requests and made sure everyone felt well taken care of. The food itself was outstanding.The overall experience was greatly enhanced by the excellent service we received. I highly recommend Jack Astor's in Ancaster for a memorable dining experience.

Welcoming staff. The interior decoration is a bit dark, the patio is very nice and spacious.We ordered the cheese soup and chicken tenders and chicken curry bowl.The service was fast and the food was delicious.I will come back to this restaurant since everything is good and delicious.

We went there for lunch and had the Mushroom Truffle Cheeseburger and the Holy Smoke BBQ Burger. The latter was ordered without a bun, with sweet potato fries on the side, and it was served on two plates, which was an excellent move! Both were delicious, and we also ordered dessert to go; Lemon Blueberry Tart. We split it later that evening, and that was also delicious. The menu says that it serves 2, however that's a little bit of a stretch, as the 2 resulting portions were on the small side. Overall, the restaurant is a little pricey but not overly so. Service was excellent and we are definitely going back.

Stopped in for a beer and fresh tuna and guacamole with salsa, and we really liked it.Service was a lot better than I expected . Actually we will be going back for the apps again. We'll done guys
