deserves 0 stars but there was no option for that..government making us broke from cerb repayment and taxes

Had the worst experience. Do not recommend. The wait is ridiculous. The lady that helped me was extremely rude off the bat. I couldn’t ask her one question without her cutting me off & being extremely defensive & rude . I was calm & polite from the moment I walked in because I’ve worked in customer service so I know how it is. But this lady was such a miserable person from the get go. I didn’t catch her name but if you get a mid 50’s woman with short grey/black hair with black glasses good luck.

they never even looked at my id and refused to believe i was an adult telling me i need a parents signature. i am 21

They force us to wait outside. And it was raining. They say it's because of the capacity of the mall. Or security.. it doesn't matter, it does not make sense either way.Update: waiting inside now.. but they won't let us in and sit, even with all the chairs available..

I waited for 3.5 hours in a line and when I went inside all they say is we would need a printed copy of your document. I get it that's the procedure but what if someone does not have a printer? As if they do not have any in their office its just so annoying and irritating. Firstly the line did not move for 1.5 hours, and then they say this. For anyone that wants to get their work done please visit the other Service Canada offices, THIS LOCATION HAS STUPID PEOPLE ASSISTING CUSTOMERS, AND ALSO ZERO GENEROSITY FOR PEOPLE'S TIME AND EFFORTS.

It was the matter of 13th Feb, security guard was so rude and trying to get rid of the people and was not giving the proper instructions.

Went to the passport office at end of April and told to go to Service Canada because travel dates were in July. Booked an appointment for May 6 and submitted documents for son's passport. Was told it would be mailed out June 6th. Still waiting for mail. Submitted a service request online last week to track progress of application. Am still waiting for a reply 6 days later. When I call the passport office they are so busy that you aren't even put on hold, the lines just disconnects. Travel date is approaching next week and the situation has now escalated to urgent.How can it be not only that the Canadian Government can't process documents but can't even provide a tracking number for people to check on the status of their application. I get more information and better customer service from Door Dash when I order a box of noodles. Obviously the system is broken and this is having an unfortunate impact on people's mental health. Travel is stressful in general but this experience has made things significantly worse.

Always understaffed. Wait times are long even for the simplest of things.

When I arrive there, I spent a very flash time to get my SIN number. Officers are kind and effective. No complains with them. I post 5 stars.

Courteous service. Had to wait a bit but worth it. Very helpful.
