They are competitive on price, highly skilled, trained in the latest technology and automation goodies and above all are actually RELIABLE!

As an architect I have worked on a number of projects with Reliable Electric. They have been involved in planning the electrical infrastructure through to the finishes stages. Their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, and the quality of their work is excellent. I would highly recommend them and will continue to work along side them.

We had Reliable Electric install some new light fixtures and some ceiling fans in our retail business. They quoted me promptly and went through the options. The installation took a full week and was quite technical and looked physically draining. The electrician showed up early and conducted himself in a professional and diligent manner the whole time, it was super impressive. I will recommend Reliable Electric to all my friends and family. Reliable did all of the electrical in my house for my last renovation. They are great guys, Luc is super knowledgeable and helpful. I am so happy with all of my new pot lights and my Bocci lights were installed exactly how I wanted them. Thank you!

Reliable Electric completed a service upgrade on our home and wired a hot tub for us in 2022. Great job overall, they defined the scope well, pricing was fair, had no claims, they stuck to the schedule, work was done neatly, they cleaned up after themselves, communication was continuous and they were quick to respond to our questions.

Dylan and his team provided quick and efficient work when we needed it for installing a new furnace and air conditioner. A pleasure to deal with!

I hired Reliable Electric to upgrade the 100 amp service to my home, run the wiring for a new heat pump, and make some smaller changes to outlets and lighting. Throughout the entire process from planning to the president following up with me on how they did, all their employees were friendly, knowledgeable and customer service driven. I was provided updates throughout the work, and provided with clear professional invoices. I would definitely use them again for any electrical project.

I do not recommend this company. My wife and I recently bought a house in North Vancouver and hired Reliable Electric to upgrade our electrical panel from 70amps to 200amps, and also to install pot lights and new wiring in the basement. They quoted us around $5,500 for the work. They sent a young electrician and an apprentice to do the work, who were nice enough, but very slow. They also damaged 30 planks of brand new laminate flooring that we had laid (and then had to take up to replace the damaged planks and prevent any further damage). After a week we got our first invoice, for just under $8K. A second invoice soon followed, and it was clear that by the end of the project the total cost was going to be closer to $15K (after a $5,500 estimate). Now, we did add some scope to the project: we added a few more pot lights and asked them to run some more wiring downstairs, but no where near double or triple the original project scope. On their invoices were line items billing us for phone conversations. The project manager on our project did not at any point communicate the increase in costs, or give us a heads up when the budget was being exceeded, or give us a warning ahead of time so that we could decide whether we wanted to spend the extra money or not. After we fired them from the project, we had 3 other electricians come through our house to estimate finishing off the work. Each one of them told us that the work that was done was fine, but should not have taken anywhere near the amount of time that we were billed for. I guess the electricians were billing us for the time they spent making personal calls and teaching their apprentices, which we witnessed. We challenged them on their invoices, and eventually agreed to settle for $10K, but we ended up feeling extremely disappointed in their treatment of us, we did not think that they were honest or took accountability, their customer service was terrible, and we feel like we were fleeced on the costs. We have since found another electrician to finish the work, and the experience has been night and day!

Recently I hired Reliable Electric to complete a luxury home here in Vancouver. I was consistently impressed with their organization and knowledge of the electrical industry. No matter the complexity of the task Reliable handled it without hesitation and extreme professionalism. Owners, Office staff, Project Mangers, Journeyman, Apprentices all alike acted as a team and all were very quick to become one of my most trusted trades. A huge thank you to the entire team and I cant wait until the next project we can work on together.
