PDR Diesel

Got the ‘ECU & TCU tune and race exhaust’ done on my 2016 Canyon Diesel, really great work and performs much better than stock, both the shifting performance and fuel economy. The new exhaust tone is very pleasing, would’ve preferred a few more dB but it is perfect for a family truck. Prices were extremely competitive, much cheaper than other performance shops and the work was excellent. As a heavy duty mechanic, it would’ve cost the same for me to purchase the tune and exhaust and do it myself, so appreciate the tuning experts at PDR and their very fair pricing.

After battling repeated issues for over a year with my turbo-diesel Ram 1500, I turned to PDR Diesel for help. They quickly shipped me some crucial replacement parts and equipment, and then emailed me a tuning file to help get my truck running again. I ran into one small hurdle with a sensor issue after the first tune was uploaded, and after relaying the specific issue to them, the guys at PDR sent me an updated tune file that resolved the issue. My truck sat motionless on my property for over a year while I had to find other ways to handle heavy tasks such as hauling hay for our horses. Sean and crew are the best. Super reliable and they get the job done every time. I've had a couple of stolen cats replaced with PDR on commercial vehicles - they are excellent with ICBC and do the job right. They also replaced other stolen external mounted items that I thought I'd have to pay for and they took the initiative and they cleared with ICBC without a hassle. Can't say enough...

There guys are the best in the business! Over the years I’ve taken my 2006 GMC Duramax to a few shops until I found PDR. Now I will only take it to PDR! Garret has always been straight up with me on all my repairs and pricing. The technicians really know what there are doing as well…I’ve never had to go back to the dealership for any complex repairs.

The worst, unprofessional customer service have ever seen. Sent me poorly rebuilt turbo for my vehicle twice. Lost a lot of money and time from work. ended up replacing with new OEM turbo from dealer. Tom is a bad face for this company. Wish I have listened to the few but true reviews about this place.. Took two months to get my money back. and still these guys have my core turbo that I got charged for at dealer. STAY AWAY Don't waste your time and money.

Very unprofessional battery terminal replacement caused negative terminal to come apart while driving causing other wires to start smoking because they cut the wires too short and used low grade mickey mouse terminals. Every single (2 batteries) terminal was loose. There's no excuse for a Diesel repair shop to perform this type of 'Hackery. I show the photo of the Hack Job PDR did and another photo of a proper install."

Purchased an online order thru PDR DieselTurbo and exhaust manifold w studs. Tom and Paul were very helpful in assisting what I needed online via email as well as in personI will definitely be purchasing again when I am ready for injectors and misc items. As well as a pre service before I build the rat rod. (engine and drivetrain health check)

I can only speak to their parts, as I have only ever ordered online, but here goes:Based on Tom's recommendation, I ordered the TP38 ball bearing turbo and Adrenaline HPOP for my 1996 7.3 in the spring, and I have been giving it a solid shakedown over the last few months and have rendered a verdict. If you have an older 7.3 Powerstroke and are considering a set of larger injectors to wake it up a little, I would strongly encourage you to check out this option instead/as well.Adding the new setup made the truck feel new again, and I have seen better power, reduced EGT's and fuel consumption since the install, even though I'm still running the stock AA single shots. Sure bigger injectors will make power and roll coal without other upgrades, but if you are more interested in power gains than your cousin, then the bigger turbo and better HPOP will deliver that in spades, and set you up well for making the most if you add new injectors in the future.PROS:Increased power, fuel mileage, and throttle responseReduced EGT'sSounds Great! - The anti surge ports moan a little at mid revs, but it is discreet and kind a cool. Sounds like an old air raid siren.Easy to install, it took me a weekend to get these bolted onFantastic support from PDR! They hooked me up with a reman pedestal so I could keep my EGR setup (needed in the North) at no extra charge, and I had my parts within daysCONS:Intoxicating power will make you chase more power mods. I ended up adding e-fuel so my fuel pressure would keep up, and I'm looking at injectors next, and before you know it you're looking at a new transmission...No stickers or swag in the box, despite a >$2000 order. **EDIT: About an hour after I posted this, Tom emailed me and arranged to send a whole box of swag! These guys are not messing around when it comes to taking care of their customers!
