Rondeau Provincial Park
We enjoyed the trails, facilieties at the park, huge areas to play, beach, as well as services from staff. Just felt that each area of camp was not too big, in fact we found it too small compared to some other parks around here. There was no grass and the ground was muddy due to rain. However, the overall experience was good. Electricity points were also working.

Fantastic ParkWe have visited this park a few times. Many nice flat trails nothing strenuous.Nice beaches! Dog beach is rough though very rocky and water is rough the day we went.Other beach points are beautiful.Beaches are quite always from campsites. Prepare for a long walk or must drive or bike.My grand kids love this park. As it has beach on one side and Rondeau Bay on the other side. They like exploring close to shore looking for critters. Most Campsites not very private, any of them. Some in fact have absolutely no privacy, to say poor is an understatement, should say none. But still they are nice and clean. The birding migration in the spring was worth the trip. We didn’t go on the weekends so we missed some specific tours but we did follow a guide out one of first days which was very helpful. Next time I think another day would be good as we are newbies. He was very very informative. I had 10x50 binoculars to difficult to spot any birds. I have since purchased 8x42 ( on the recommendation of our guide ) and oh what a difference. Wish I had them for our trip. You can rent canoes in the area which is a nice little excursions along the shore of Rondeau Bay especially since Marsh Trail is closed. We saw Green Heron, water snakes and many other birds. So peaceful. The small Visitors center is fun. They have a few turtles and a wall of the different kids of trees the have in the park and a nice indigenous section. Informative. The have programs too. Check website for updates on those.A nice well kept clean park. And a friendly and helpful staff!

Warm water! Nice for paddle board with kids! I don't give 5 stars cause the only thing to consider is that some campsites are small. We needed to change ours, but Park’s crew was very kind and helpful.

Rondeau Provincial Park
I recently had the pleasure of spending three nights camping at Rondeau Provincial Park in Ontario, and I must say it was an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the park's natural beauty, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff.First and foremost, the campground's location is simply breathtaking. Nestled along the shores of Lake Erie, the park boasts stunning views of the water, picturesque trails, and a diverse ecosystem that is a treat for nature enthusiasts. Whether you enjoy birdwatching, hiking, or simply relaxing on the beach, Rondeau Provincial Park has something for everyone. The campsites at Rondeau Provincial Park were spacious and well-maintained. Each site provided a good level of privacy, allowing me to truly immerse myself in the tranquility of the surroundings. The campground amenities were excellent, with clean washrooms and convenient shower facilities available nearby. I appreciated the effort put into maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the campgrounds. The park staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout my stay. They were always available to answer questions, provide assistance, and offer recommendations for activities in and around the park. Their passion for preserving the park's natural wonders was evident, and it added an extra layer of appreciation to my experience. One of the highlights of my camping trip was exploring the park's trails. Rondeau Provincial Park offers a variety of well-marked trails that cater to different skill levels. Whether you're seeking a leisurely stroll or a more challenging hike, you'll find a trail that suits your preferences. I particularly enjoyed the Marsh Boardwalk Trail, where I had the opportunity to observe a wide range of bird species and other wildlife.Overall, my time at Rondeau Provincial Park was nothing short of fantastic. It provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, allowing me to reconnect with nature and unwind. I highly recommend this park to anyone seeking a memorable camping experience in Ontario. I am already looking forward to my next visit to Rondeau Provincial Park and creating more cherished memories.Note: This review is based on my personal experience and reflects my own opinions.

Only explored a part of the park since it is pretty large. But there are a few things we liked - a long slow drive takes you down south to a number of beaches, lots of trails along beaches, inside the forest, and connecting the forest to the southern-most regions. We particularly liked the tulip trail which has extended boardwalks inside the forest, and feels like a fantasy movie. Lastly, contrary to Point Pelee park which gets narrower as you get to south, this park gets broader, which is remarkable.

Loved it, always a great place to see creation. Summer, spring, fall or winter, it's a beautiful place to visit. It's very quiet in the winter time and the ice formations on the shore are interesting. Although it's busier in the summer, there's still lots of space to enjoy without feeling crowded.

Great beaches, and a really nice spot. The dog beach is pretty good, but it's a bit of a drive (it's chill though, so no biggie). The area is known for ticks and poison ivy also, so be sure to be on the lookout and frequently check your dog(s). The sites are large and can accommodate trailers (ours is 30ft) and multiple tents. The market just outside the gates has everything too!The biggest drag is that there are no water hookups on site, just power. There is a pump out and fresh water station to take care of grey/black waste and fill up the fresh water tank so be sure to sanitize your fresh water tank the day/night before you leave.I'd go back for sure!

Rondeau Provincial Park
Peaceful and lovely park to camp on Lake Erie. Only a short walk to a long and beautiful sandy beach that has a large shallow area so suitable for young children, I like they have specify beach access for campers so is easier to avoid a big crowd. The comfort station and showers are very clean and well maintained. The only downside is we went there during rainy days . So the number of bugs and mosquitos were a little too much to handle compared the campgrounds we'd been to.

A pleasure to have visited the park. It was well taken care of and the mix of some Historical cottages were a great surprise. The bay and the lake were very accessible. I'll be back.
