The food was excellent! Perfect temperatures, and tastes, especially the lobster tail. Service was great! Our server was super knowledgeable. Definitely a place to go with a few friends or date night!

Visited The Keg 1st time after COVID. I ordered my usual NY peppercorn steak with baked potato and my spouse ordered the lobster meal. Both were cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. We were the first customers at opening time at 4pm so service was quick and the waitress was very pleasant. Will definitely visit again. Despite the meal cost being a little bit expensive , this is the best restaurant chain for steak and lobster.

My wife and I came here for her birthday and it was an outstanding experience.Our servers name was Tammy and she was absolutely amazing. Are glasses didn't get more than half empty before she. She was extremely friendly and made sure all the plates were gone as soon as we finish them and move them aside. Extremely polite and always helpful for whatever we needed would definitely go back to visit her.We ordered a virgin pina colada and it was one of the best we've ever had.We also decided to order three entrees and share them just to get an idea of how they each tasted because we couldn't decide what to order.We ordered:1:The full rack is ribs2:The salmon3:The burgerMy review of each:1: the full rack of ribs was tasty but I wouldn't necessarily say they were fall-off-the-bone however I would order them again. I got it with a side of Caesar salad it was quite tasty also. I would suggest them using a little bit more sauce on the ribs I would give it an overall rating of about 7.5 out of 102: the salmon was very good and moist. The nuts they added on top made it very sweet and was very tasty once again I would also recommend an order this.The mashed potatoes that accompanied it are extremely delicious and tasty very soft and fluffy but had extremely good flavour to themThe brussel sprouts they came with had a lot of flavour and I'm not sure if it was just the way they always cook them but they did seem to be a bit more crunchy than you would expect brussel sprouts to be, almost like undercooked but they weren't raw and extremely tasty and I would definitely get this dish again I would give it a rating of about 8.5 out of 103: the burger was extremely delicious I definitely enjoyed the sauce that they had on it as well as the bun they used was extremely chewy and yet soft at the same time it was nice to bite into and fresh. All the ingredients they added on that were delicious. And the taste of the burger had that real fire charcoal style taste that you would expect from a homemade cooked Burger was absolutely delicious. The french fries that accompaniedthe burger was very fresh and crisp and had the perfect amount of salt on them. I would give it a rating of about 8.5 out of 10For dessert we got there coffee Oreo cookie crumble something it was free with our birthday celebration and it was probably one of the best I've ever had in the city it would relate very similarly to what you would call a mud pie it was absolutely delicious. I would give it a rating of about 9.5 of 10

Good service and food. Had beef nachos and red wine sangria.The staff at the lounge area who served us was awesome. She was so polite and was ready to answer any questions or concerns.Overall had a good experience.

Wasn't difficult to book a table online, and I preferred that option than being on hold waiting for assistance. The overall ambience is cozy, spacious seating area, quieter earlier in the evening and then noise levels increase as the night progresses. We enjoyed a quiet space for the first part of our evening as it was a casual work dinner.We had a few appetisers for sharing and the main course was delicious. Dessert was equally satisfying.Patricia who was with us for the evening was amazing. She was very friendly, made valuable meal recommendations and suggestions ensuring we had a wonderful dining experience.She made a lovely gesture of doodling a birthday cake on the receipt which was very thoughtful!

I’ve been to this Keg on the west side a few times over the years, I must say this last time provided an exceptional memorable experience. We were a party of 4, Our server was Holly! A very energetic, highly professional with a fun personality! I honestly can not recall the last time I had such a remarkable service experience! Holly is an absolute treasure, it was her level of customer service that really amplified our dinner experience. The food was fantastic, the service was fantastic.I have been to every keg location in Edmonton, this will be my # 1 preferred location from now on☺️

Garlic Shrimp was good, Steak was also good but the blackened chicken was not good at all really really salty and no taste at all, beans were not cooked they were very raw my favourite part was the beat root they were delicious. The restaurant manager was nice he checked on us and gave us a $6 discount which was nice but still it ruined my meal because of the over salt in the chicken. For the price they charge on their dish you would think they would do better.

I took my mother and cousin who were visiting from out of town here for dinner. Now I go to the keg every now and then and meh you spend some money per person but its never bothered me till now.Normally I don't order appetizers as usually me and my friend go catch a movie afterwards.However this time I ordered the shrimp and crab cakes which were about $20something? each.The shrimp were 5 tiny little shrimps and the crab cakes as shown just 2 crab cakes for another $20something? unacceptable.Dear Keg, I work in construction management on a $40 billion project, I have no kids or wife, my income is higher than a vast majority of families, if I feel taken advantage of by you who do you think is going to be your customer? I'm the guy who picks up the bill for the whole table and you disappoint me.Increase prices if you have to but increase quality and portions also, those shrimps were laughable.Also didn't even taste good, seriously, expensive for what it is and poor quality.Staff were nice and the location is nice but those appetizers have ruined The Keg for me.I was honestly embarrassed having brought my guests here and having those appetizers served to them.I spent $204 for dinner for 3 people without drinks and I won't be back.I never look at the bill but doing this review i just checked my account and honestly thought i spent $150 but I'm surprised that disappointment was $204.

A nice family dinner out. Ordered the Keg burger with fries, pistachio crusted salmon with brussel sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes, and prime rib with fried onion straws and french fries (not pictured but could have chosen fresh vegetables, baked potatoes or garlic mashed potatoes). Everything tasted great! The decor was dark, warm colours reminiscent of traditional steak houses. Our server Chris was attentive and friendly. It was busy with lots of diners so the noise level was higher. Not a place for a romantic quiet dinner but great for a fun night out with family or friends.
