Midtown Dental Centre

This is a tough one, because Dr.Ramlaggan is an exceptional dentist; he exudes knowledge and experience (he does get very impatient with his assistant during procedures, which is uncomfortable, but whatever).There is a hard sell culture about this place, which ultimately made me bail. My first visit, I was asked several preliminary questions (eg. what are some impediments to getting prompt dental care? and "how much detail do you like the dentist to share with you?") I answered that cost was among my issues

The whole team at Midtown Dental are so friendly and helpful! They really take the time to get to know you, and are always willing to go above and beyond for their patients. Everyone is so knowledgeable and skilled, and take care of you in a timely and efficient manner.I've had consultations with numerous orthodontics , but I choose to go with Midtown Dental because of how passionate and thorough Dr. Ramlaggan and the rest of the team is about dentistry.I highly recommend Midtown Dental to everybody! You're in the best hands!

I've been a patient at Midtown since about 2009. The entire staff are consistently pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. I always feel like I'm getting the most up-to-date, dedicated treatment. And painless, I might add! ;-)

Midtown dental is a godsend…after several bad experiences at other dentists, Midtown has restored my faith that dentistry does not mean pain. Dr. R was patient and offered options on how to strengthen and straighten my teeth and the invisalines process was a success. The dentists, hygienists, and staff are friendly and generally wonderful. If you’re looking for a dentist, look no further!

Midtown Dental are phenomenal! I had a really bad wisdom teeth problem that my previous dentist couldn't do it well. Then, I found Midtown Dental and wanted to give it a try.Huge thanks for Dr.Ramlaggan! He is a really nice, knowledgable, and skillful. He knew how to make plan for my wisdom teeth removal. And my teeth was removed smoothly and painlessly. That was incredible and amazing! I really appreciate Dr.Ramlaggan cured my toothache.I highly recommend the clinic and would come back for my usual dental treatments. The best!!!

The team takes a holistic approach with your dental hygiene! They determined that a sleep appliance would be beneficial for me and it’s made a significant improvement on my quality of sleep and life! I wake up feeling more refreshed and energized :) Syda the dental hygienist is amazing, very throughout, she takes the time to explain and answer all my question.

TLDR: I've had a root canal, multiple fillings, and a few cleanings done here since 2018 and it's been the most painless experience I've had at a dentist in my life.I'm one of those little-to-no insurance patients who shows up in bursts at a dental office when something's gone wrong.The first time I went to Midtown Dental was back in 2018, when an old filling came out while I was at work. The receptionists booked an emergency appointment for the very next day, and assisted me greatly with both emotional and financial choices at the time. The interaction turned a very scary situation for me into one where I felt taken care of and stable in my dental health. Dentistry in Ontario is expensive no matter what if you're paying out of pocket, but the staff at Midtown Dental do their best to find solutions that get the most important work done for where you're at. It's also been worth it for the actual care which has been completely painless and physically attentive.I've been back recently and similarly, the reception and communication I've received has been top notch. I appreciate the way they have hired trained staff to talk you through the dental plan and payment options, as well as an initial check in around your relationship with dentistry as a whole. Made communication around any personal obstacles I've had far easier. They don't pressure for services either, only give their educated opinions about what kind of work should be done, and the staff has kept in mind my insurance situation and has stuck their neck out for me numerous times throughout my care. I felt like my feedback, consent, and boundaries have been listened to and kept in mind every visit.Ultimately, I've never had a dental clinic go so far above and beyond to make sure that their patients get the appropriate care while also taking in every patient's individual financial state with such consideration.The energy in the office feels extremely welcoming as a whole, non-judgemental, and easy to navigate. I've shown up at this location multiple times in different states of emotion and physicality and have been received with the same amount of kindess, respect, and hospitality each time. As a trans individual who hasn't finilized my legal document changes, it's also been a real load off my back to be consistently referred to pretty accurately by both name and pronouns here. I genuinely like this clinic so much that if I had better insurance and financial stability, I'd be happy to come here once every 3 months for consistent upkeep. That's a plan for the future I suppose, but if you're looking for a dental care clinic that's high in quality, empathy, and extremely convenient, go here.I also got a nighttime mouth guard from them 4 years ago and not only has it stayed in tact and effecive, but my previous jaw pain due to teeth grinding has never come back.
