The Doctors are great and have a wonderful way with patients. The reception staff can be very rudeI get it you are the ONLY walk in in the city but talking to people rudely and complaining about the long line ups to the people who have been waiting 2 hours for you to open shows a total lack of professionalism or empathy.I hope your office manager reviews attitude.

It takes all day to get a prescription for the blood pressure medication that you've been taking for ten years, and you're very lucky if you can do that. I've been through it three times, and today is the fourth time. I hope to get a prescription.

Had to wait for 2 hours before seeing the doctor, despite getting the appt. On top, to get the appt, had to wait for 2 hours. Lots of waiting period. Good staff, but shortage of staff. Also, they asked my to come back at 4 to see the doctor, didn’t get my chance until 6:45 If you are ill, and want to see a doctor, prepare to waste a whole day and really need to be patient. If not, don’t fall ill.

Got there at 8 waited to check in..told us to be back at 11 with the entire second half of the line up..Staff doing bare minimum...unfriendly, uninspired health care workers. How about staggering the returning people by 10 minutes so we all don't have to sit in a coughing pit for an hour and a half with sick kids...try harder port place medical...it's not working..m

Fantastic staff and Doctors working in the hardest situation. This is the only Walk In Clinic open in Nanaimo and they are doing an amazing job carrying the load for a large population. The wait times are long that’s for sure. But I was greeted by a friendly dark haired receptionist and then the nurse had me laughing despite how crummy I felt. The Doctor was very friendly and quick. I called in later to get my results and the switchboard operator patiently walked me through how to get my results.Bravo to you all!

Omg the staff are SO rude!!!! After a week and a half of trying to get in to see a doctor, they finally were able to take me. The receptionists didn't tell me how long the wait would be, so I asked one of them. She said, You only just got here 12 minutes ago

Doctors take time and are very considerate. One lady int the staff was very rude, she seems to be burnt out or overworked, she had no capacity to listen and understand my need. When you're in physical or emotional pain and need help it's really making things worse to not be taken serious and be cut off. She hung up on me on the phone.

I really liked this clinic. You do have to be there super early as the line starts at 7am but we're in a physician's crisis and they're the only walk in/urgent care in Nanaimo so that's just how it is. I found it really considerate that they let you leave and come back to check in to that you can kind of balance your day instead of spending the whole thing in a waiting room. The doctor I saw was extremely kind and spoke with such a high degree of compassion despite them clearly being crazy busy. The appointment probably took about ten minutes and he basically ran out the door to make sure that other patients got seen as well, but he only left once he was certain that I felt heard and had explained things fully to me. I feel like it takes a really special doctor to be truly present and make you feel valued during a short, walk in visit. Would very much recommend this clinic.

They don't update their online website when they are at capacity. You are best to call in and ask. I made a long trip out because their website said they were open. Just to show up and find out that they were at capacity will not accepting more until the next day.

It wasn't too busy, I dropped by around 10:30am but there was a sign on the door saying they don't take walk in patients until 12:30pm so I left and came back at 12:30pm. I came in the security guard immediately came up to greet me, the whole time I was there I noticed he was very attentive and I appreciate that. I waited in the waiting room for about 40 minutes then saw the doctor for about 1 minute, lol. Quickest doctor's visit I've ever had.
