Nomadic Sauna

A lovely morning spent in the sauna at Comox Lake. Tanya was lovely :) The sauna itself was sublime, clean and beautifully kept and sincere thought was put in to the whole experience and set up - only wish we coulda stayed there all day!

I love every moment of my experience with the Nomadic Sauna. The owners are super friendly and knowledgeable. The sauna was delivered right to my house so clean and they set everything up and explained how to use it. Tanja even shared the details of why the sauna is beneficial for my health – the heat regenerates cells and pushes our heart rates up – all leading to longevity. So much super interesting info that I just want more sauna time. We used the sauna with our kids and our friends. And there is nothing like waking up the next morning after a sauna! My skin feels so soft and I had the best sleeps. Thank you Nomadic Sauna!

On a recent trip to Courtenay, my husband and I added on the sauna to our stay. I was not a huge sauna lover but thought it sounded like a unique experience and we have been reading a lot about the health benefits of the Nordic Cycle, the “hot sauna cold plunge” and how the benefits are both physical and psychological, and immediately noticeable.We were not disappointed! After the first night I had one of the best sleeps I have had in months, and noticed the next day that my skin felt plump and hydrated. The second night we added more steam and enjoyed the experience even more.The Nomadic sauna truly stimulated 4 out of 5 of our senses from the gorgeous aesthetic of the wood barrel, to the incredible smell of cedar, the crackling of the wood fire and really awesome conversations we shared inside. We had the Nomadic Sauna at our house on a rainy night and we could not have asked for a better way to beat the winter blahs. Let's be honest, winter is probably not the best time on Vancouver Island. Gray skies, rain, and chilly weather make for a pretty miserable mix at times. Nomadic Sauna is a bright spot in this otherwise depressing forecast. They bring a sauna to your house or the spot of your choice, along with firewood and all you need to relax in their portable cedar sauna. The service cannot be beat and they are incredibly easy to work with. This is a great way to get your friends together, enjoy some intense heat and get re-energized for whatever weather is coming up! I highly recommend this amazing service!

Had the sauna at my place for the weekend to have friends and family drop in and celebrate my birthday. Tanja and her crew were great to deal with and her attention to detail shone through in the sauna experience. Easily got it up to 95 degrees, that fire is small but mighty! We set up the hose for an outdoor shower/plunge and moved the patio furniture to the driveway. For a night or a weekend, I will definitely be renting it again!

Rented this sauna for the 7 day rental on 2 separate occasions and absolutely loved it both times! Had the best sleep of my life while we had it and value is well worth it. Joel and Tanja were extremely helpful and made everything so easy for us and would highly recommend renting one yourself!

Rented the sauna for a surprise for my hubbies birthday! It was AWESOME! So fun, and very relaxing. Great customer service, delivered and picked up, and given great instruction on how to use! Highly recommended! Was a great experience and we hope to do it again!!

Father's Day weekend surprise! Delivered, set up and started using right away! Heated up very fast. Everything needed came with the unit. All wood, kindling, paper, matches, water and instructions for 2 days came with unit! We will be repeat customers for sure!

We rented the sauna for a couple of nights. Pickup and dropoff was very convenient. The sauna was very pretty and full of accessories. The room heats up very easily and fits 4 adults comfortably. Amazing customer service. Highly recommened.
