Four Points by Sheraton Kamloops

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because of the friendly and efficient front desk staff.During our stay we had to request that the towels be changed, the coffee be refilled, the floors to be cleaned, sink and tub be cleaned. After the 3rd night I had used Lysol wipes to clean all the surfaces and bathroom. Other surfaces had grime residue. Very poor. We will not be staying again.

I was expecting more having stayed at other Four Points in the past and unfortunately I won't visit this one again. The positives about this hotel are location; close to the highway but we couldn't hear it, close to a shopping mall, restaurants, liquor store, Tim Hortons. The bed was very comfortable, fabulous water pressure and the staff were very friendly, professional and accommodating. The bad news...we found the room and hallways to be dirty. Not just the cheezies and ??? that our dog found in our room but it was like whatever cleaning was done was in haste with little effort. This hotel has so much going for it that it is unfortunate the cleanliness is an issue. With there being limited guests I would have thought there would be lots of time to keep it extra clean.

I generally love Four Points, they’re usually modern, clean, and well staffed. Upon arrival they let us know there would be an extra charge if we wanted a crib (which was fine, we brought a pack and play). No help with luggage (also fine). Noticed a pile of wine glasses outside of the elevator and something spilled inside the elevator. The wine glasses were there for at least four hours and the spill in the elevator was there when we left the next day. The pool is nice and we enjoyed taking our baby swimming. Upon coming back to our room, my wife found a cockroach in the bathroom. Their solution was to move us to the room beside our current room, which I let them know would not be acceptable. If there is a bug in one room, it’s pretty likely that there are more in the rooms next to them. They eventually did give us a new room a floor above which was much nicer. Overall a pretty lousy experience.

Our family had a one night stay. Washroom sink wasn't cleaned properly amongst check in. The sink did not drain properly causing us using to use the shower faucet as an alternative. Alerted front desk upon check out. Front desk agent didn't seemed bothered by it and mentioned that the occupants prior reported that also which was odd to disclose. If there was knowledge of issues prior then then why wouldn't you fix it before the next guests to check in. Visited the pool the first night then again in the morning. The only upside was the slide kept the children entertained. Had to call for towels both visits. The pool deck was not cleaned over night for the same food crumbs surrounding the pool was still there from the night prior left us a little disgusted. Would suggest this place as a quick stop over hotel and not a vacation stay venue.

We had to wait in line for about 20 minutes upon arriving, and once we checked in we went up to the room and the keys did not work. We had to go back down to the lobby, wait in line again and get the keys activated. Once in the room the mini fridge was completely frozen inside so the cold air could not circulate. That aside the stay was nice, clean room, comfortable bed, and good selection of channels on the TV. Also a convenient location right off the highway.

My wife and I have stayed here before and it has been great. This time the front area always smelled of body odour and the third floor had dirty dishes outside of a room for two days. We found hair in the bathtub and the inside of the bathroom sink has residual dirt . We will be changing our motel when we come in to Kamloops for shopping.

This hotel was just average. Elevator was clean enough and facilities were not well equipped (eg. gym and swimming pool). Treadmill had a broken belt it was a safety hazard. Swimming pool was out of order.Staff should really clean of fingerprints off the elevator. People take pandemic seriously everywhere we go.Staff booked us room 209 at the basement and there was no view. We didn't even like our room. Good thing, staff switched us to 306 instead and the view was fantastic.The hotel said rooms were full online, but they weren't fully booked when we went.Beds were comfortable. No microwave and no complimentary breakfast offered. Shower head was working fine. Hot water and the water pressure was strong. Shower felt very soothing because of the strong water pressure. Gas stations, 7/11, Rexall, dollarstore, liquor store and restaurants were closeby. Delta Hotel looked lot better to stay if I can afford it.

Have stayed in this hotel before and it could use some freshening up. The rooms are nice but the carpet was stained, the desk chair was very well worn and a desk lamp wasn't working. The fitness centre is adequate but the water cooler was left empty for two days.Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, as always. And, appreciate the complimentary bottle of water in room.

Staff are super friendly and attentive. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The pool and hot tub area is nice. The gym is a bit limited and would be nice to see the addition of a few free weights. There’s always fresh coffee in the lobby in the mornings which is a great touch!

Smooth check in and out. Room was comfortable, clean and smelled fresh. Towels and bed linens were good quality. Lots of easy parking. Good location. I stayed in room 301 which is right across from the elevator, expected to hear foot traffic all night but didn't. Very quiet and slept well. Will be back!
