Stuff in store are mostly high quality. Impressed. But the male staff threw my jacket on the ground while I wen to try on other clothes and left my clothes on the goods shelf. I hold my temper at the moment since I was in a hurry going home for work. I understand staff may get exhausted folding the shirts again and again after people tried and don’t manage to fold them. However, I fold my tried clothes, also, no one has the right to throw anyone’s clothes on the ground without asking whose belonging it is. Genuinely hope this would never happen again.

If you have loads of cash to drop in this store at one time, you'll be fine. I love LLBean, but the prices are a bit of a shocker. Nothing I looked at was below three digits, except for a couple of kids items (higher double digits and they had very little to choose from), and smaller items such as socks. It might be cheaper to shop online as the store didn't have many deals on. The website has a ton of deals, because I'm always looking at the site to see what they have. To be honest, I don't know how long this store will survive here, and that's a shame because it really is a nice store, and I love the brand. I gave it 4 stars because of the clean store and the amount of options to choose from.

Asked the price of a dog bed, the sales associate said something upwards of $400, and when i joked “maybe next christmas then” the sales associate said, and i quote, “well, some dogs deserve it and some dogs don’t, i guess” like girl why are you trying to make me feel bad that i don’t want to spend $500 on a dog bed i can order from amazon for $50. bad vibes!!!!!!!

The lady that served us was terrific. But you would think after 4 months you would have more stock and the fact that you can't have the store order something in for you is just not acceptable. Seniors that don't have a computer are out of luck if the size and colour they want are not in the store. This is not a good way of doing business.

Went in during their Boxing day sale of 60% off everything" only to find the small print "only on ticketed and selected items". Didn't apply to any of the duffel bags I took to the cash

My wife and I visited the Kingston store for the first time in April 2023. The layout of the men's and womens' sections was well done and all products were easy to view and pick up. Immaculate new change rooms. The staff were most helpfull. Product quality was tops. I could have bought somethng from each of the menswear sections and I am an XXL guy. Dropped a lot of coin there today and we are looking forward to looking good this Spring and Summer.

As far as the store goes it’s mint. Great stuff in there or high quality. I’ve been waiting for years to have a chance to go to LLBean for their fly fishing rods and apparel, was a bucket list experience for me. Getting a new LLBean in Kingston was very exciting, but there is not a single hunting or fishing item in the store. Super super disappointing. The store layout and in stock clothing options for everyday items is terrific though.

I hope our experience of legendary customer service, I know as I'm a former Manager of a high end store, is shared with L.L.Beans upper Management. My husband and I went to L.L.Bean in Kingston Ontario Canada this evening and we were so impressed with everything. The new store is very welcoming, bright, beautifully merchandised, well laid out, with friendly staff promptly greeting clients, and all doing their very best to offer amazing customer service. All Canadians shopping for Christmas hopefully will be respectfully patient as all L.L.Bean staff in Canada are brand new in their positions, hence in the necessary learning curve, as this quality brand is also completely new in Canada. All staff were truly caring to me, and went above and beyond to be at service to my husband and I. Many wonderfully patient customers shopping also politely cared too and gladly waited their turn for service. Thank you all! I'm saying thank you as a massive wind storm on April 15 2022 Good Friday a brick was flung off a second story building into my skull. So I'm now unfortunately fully disabled. I have a fractured skull in multiple places, a hole to my brain, hence a traumatic brain injury that should have killed me, and a fractured ankle with a torn ligament. A very young lady kindly greeted us, and when she didn't know the coat I was looking for she immediately got a staff member who was more familiar with all the many new products. Jolene helped me find an excellent fit with L.L.Bean's warm, fully insulated and lined, 100% very soft lambswool classic duffel coat in a beautiful navy. Young Elliot in footwear helped me purchase the L.L.Bean classic 7 boot with a new design of a front zip so that I can fit my permanently slightly larger

Great quality casual clothing. And nice outdoor gear. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

If I could give it zero I would. long time customer. The store didn’t carry any of the products that built the llbean name. Service was terrible. Products were cheap overpriced junk. Well done. You opened a store and chased off your original customers. Will no longer buy from llbean. They sold out.
