Nanaimo Christian School

Most of the teachers are good, except for one, not naming names though. The kids well... Let me put it this way, take away the Christian in Christian school and you have an expensive private school, with expensive private school kids, y'know, THOSE type of kids. Not a great experience with those kids.PS. Anyone who finds this, and knows the person who owns this email, yea, you're in that group too.

If I could rate this school a 0 would Worst experince here decent teachers miss nud was the best but the kids are the worst made my time there so bad

Enrolled our kids here a few years ago. Super outdoors program with the preschool. All the teachers are legit. Principal is out daily greeting every kid by name. Would never send our kids anywhere else.

They discriminate. Plain and simple. 90% of the teachers truly care, and they can be a great place to send your kid if they have challenges with learning, but if you are apart of any sort of minority group I definitely wouldn’t recommend going. I know you face a lot of the same issues at public school, but paying high tuition just to be treated poorly isn’t fair to anyone. I am extremely grateful for the teachers that helped me finish my schooling there, considering it had an incredible toll on my mental health. I have many positive memories there and many negative ones, I also don’t judge anyone that decides this is a good school for your kid, because it is different for everyone. I am speaking on my own personal experience and a student of 10 years there.

The curriculum is not that great and there is clear favouritism.Namely the blended grade curriculum" thing they have going on is not a great way to learn. There are certain students who are clearly favoured

I just wanted to say thank you to the school admin and principal for standing outside every morning, rain or shine, welcoming our children with smiling faces and encouraging words. My young son was having a hard time saying goodbye to me one morning and an attentive staff member noticed. He quickly came over to assure me that he would look after my son until he was prepared to go to class. I was blown away and so appreciative. Thank you for going above and beyond!

Our kids have been going to this school now for years. Every year I'm amazed at how wonderful the teachers are. Excellent support staff. Individualized learning plans. It's also been a treat having all the different parent connect groups. I love how it's very personal. Many of the teachers and administrators know all the children's names, regardless if they have taught them or not. Can't recommend this school enough!

We have been a part of this school for many years and each year seems better than the last! The teachers are outstanding, approachable and caring. The school has a wonderful outdoors preschool, individual learning plans, and great family engagement initiatives. The community and relationships are authentic and personal. Wouldn’t send our kids anywhere else!
