Got hyped up by all the reviews saying it's the best trail ever. In reality, it's alright. Don't get me wrong, it's a great trail. The views are fantastic and diverse. The trail is well maintained. I guess it just did not exceed my expectation. The beginning and the ending of trails are pretty boring in contrast that contributes to about 20-25% of the total trail length. Took us about 3 hours total to complete with a 3 year old and a 5 year old.

Its truly one of the best hikes in North America! Do NOT miss this hike. We felt it was easy-medium hike with stunning views.Its around 2-3 hour loop. Recommend going in the afternoon to avoid crowd (start after 3pm, in summer days ofcourse, so you will be back before sunset). You will get a peaceful hike and all the area to yourself. Amazing coastal hike with epic views of the rocky cliffs of Newfoundland and the of course the ocean. The historical town of Trinity can be seen from multiple viewpoints.

Beautiful trail. I can see why it was ranked #3 trail in Canada to hike. We saw plenty of birds and baby foxes. The sun cleared up most of the muddy parts of the trail. We were glad we brought bug spray. With the warm weather the bugs are now out.

Easily one of the most beautiful spots anywhere ever! The walk is a little challenging, but nothing too difficult or scary. Absolutely breathtaking views.At first i was super annoyed that i couln’t find parking anywhere near the Skerwink Trail Access" point and almost gave up. Then noticed the real start of the trail (this map pointer) and there was an offical parking lot.Definitely suggest this walk if you like these types of things. Easily one of the if not THE highlight of my trip to Newfoundland."

This is a must go trail for hikers in Canada. Breathtaking views of the rocks and islands off the east coast. It is not too long and can be done in 2 hours.

Not a difficult trail to get extremely spectacular views. Always prepare for the worst weather. We went in late August and it's very windy and drizzly.

Skerwink Trail
Deserving of the rating as one of the top 35 trails in North America and Europe. Were surprised with the clear view we had given the foggy drive from Bonavista. What an awesome trail, lots of lookouts, got to see eagles dive at each other, fox at the summit, 360 view from an optional lookout.
