My leisure place... I live just in front of assiniboine park... so I frequently go for a walk or to relax with my wife or alone... very pleasing ambience...

Assiniboine River Park Bridge
This is a beautiful walking bridge (can walk bike across) connecting a small park on the north side of the bridge (near Sargent Sunday and Joe Blacks) to the main Assiniboine Park. It is especially beautiful in Autumn because of the distant view all the different coloured leaves. On the south side of the bridge, there is a place to rent bicycles to tour around the park. You'll sometimes see people fish off to the side of the bridge during the warmer months.

My go to place for a quick job. It's amazing how green it is. You can rent bicycles for your whole fam if you're into it. Amazing place!

Nice wide walking bridge. Some of the drainage vents are sunken in and I nearly tripped while using my cane. Otherwise a lovely place.

I grew up on Deer Lodge Place so spent a lot of time at Assiniboine Park! Love this place ❤ (We were trying to catch snaps of 2 bald eagles flying over the park!)

For some reason the lights don't work in the summer. I guess the park elites don't care about safety or convenience. Maybe they over spent on that new conservatory and need to cut back on non essentials like lights on the bridge?Does anyone know how all the geese disappeared overnight?

The geese don't poop on the bridge, which can't be said for the north side park. The bridge is your safe spot. Protect the bridge, and the bridge will protect you.
