Red Ribbon Boutique

I've typically given my business to Harrow Boutique, Miss Boss or Floc Boutique, the reason for this being that I've experienced too many times, the employees all huddled up behind the counter, either chatting with each other or on their phones, and when the employees can't even be bothered to greet me when I come through the door, it's made me feel judged and not worth their time. With all this being said, I decided to give Red Ribbon another go on Saturday around noon. From what I could tell it looked like there was only one girl working up front but she was super friendly and thoughtful and treated me way better then any other RR employee had treated me in the past. She was knowledgeable about the products and when I asked about a specific dress she recalled that she had seen another woman grab the last one and was currently trying it on in the dressing room, luckily for me the woman decided not to get the dress but it looked beautiful on me. I hope RR has turned a new page in regards to employee expectations but for now at least I am confident in saying that I will be back to shop there again.

Not very impressed with this boutique. Came here to look for dresses, the lady working stated the store was closing in 15 mins and did not seem motivated to help us. When asked if she could help us find some dresses she had this stark look on her face as if she was surprised I dare ask such a thing. She said, “well they’re over there, you can find what you like.” Well as a customer if i’m looking for that service I can go to Walmart, I was specifically looking for assistance to find a dress suitable for my body type. Meaning she pick some items from the floor. When it came to trying them on she could not even bother to lead us to the change room, again, “it is over there.” Later she was on her phone for much of the time and didn’t seem interested in helping many of the customers in the store. Very disappointed with the lack of customer service at this store and will not be returning. I will gladly go to the many other boutiques that offer customer assistance with enthusiasm instead of disdain.

One word... OBSESSED! I love Red Ribbon. The staff is always nice and never fail to say hello when you walk through the door. I find the prices are great, that many items are affordable and unique. They always have new items listed online and in store. I look on their website and find things to add to my cart daily (I told you, obsessed.) Would gladly support a local boutique over a large chain store! Happy to have this store in Edmonton!

This is the first store I have reviewed but I felt compelled to write of my experience. After hearing so much about this boutique I decided to check it out, only to be disappointed my first step in the door. The customer service was very poor, as one of the only people in the store I was not greeted by either of the two girls working. One walked past me several times as I looked around and didn’t say a word. Neither girl working asked if there was anything she could help me find or even acknowledged my presence. At a time when we’re all trying so hard to support local it’s very disappointing to see such poor service, I will not be returning.

Best boutique in Edmonton by far and one of my favourites in the world! The staff are so helpful and friendly, and the stock is totally on point from the clothing to the homeware, beauty and accessories. It's a beautiful store with gorgeous big change rooms, flattering lighting and is super clean and bright throughout. It's even got an accessible change room and bathroom - great details for those shoppers who have additional needs. I went a little crazy buying pieces but I know they'll last beautifully and I can't wait to return when I'm back in Edmonton!

Hidden gem for clothing & sweet lil goodies in YEG — both my husband and I are obsessed with Red Ribbon & always look forward to stopping by! All the best brands, friendly staff, and gorgeous fitting rooms!

Went in with a friend at about 1:30pm today. The staff at the desk looked at us but didn’t bother to say hi or ask us if we needed help. They had cute things in there and my friend and I took our time looking around the shop, but the staff not once made an effort to talk to us, even though they made direct eye contact several times. I just can’t support a business that has poor customer service. Because of this, my friend and I left empty handed and will not be returning.

Probably my favourite store for women’s clothing great price point. The owner goes beyond for customers so does all the staff. Very friendly they always answer questions promptly. Highly recommend!! On line shopping is a breeze! Men’s clothing, jewelry, skin care, candles, shoes and much more.

Red Ribbon is my go-to for gifts for others and myself! They have a beautifully curated shop with so many great brands and I've really appreciated being able to shop online and pick up locally over the course of the pandemic. They've adapted quickly and I've always received great service. Thank you!

I’ve been following Red Ribbon for a long time on Facebook. Love their products and selection!! (Mmmm, Jacek Chocolates…). When I have visited the store, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Special shout out to the owner who took it upon herself to save me the shipping charges because she happened to live close to me. The fact that she even noticed shows me how much they care about each order going out. Shop here!!
