Craftsman Shutters & Blinds

Ordered shutters and a blind for the kitchen. We had used craftsman shutters in the past and they were good. They have changed ownership since the first time we used them. However, this time it was horrible. There is no pride in work. The installer left the areas where install occurred a mess. There was saw dust all over and brackets and screws laying around. They also had to come twice to install cause they took incorrect measurements and brought the wrong size. Then when they came the second time they installed the wrong colour and they would not correct and provide colour requested. Adrienne tried to be helpful but we could not come to a mutually agreeable solution. I will not recommend and would not use them again. It's unfortunate. The quality of the shutters is good.

Highly recommend Craftsman Shutters and Blinds for their exceptional service and quality. We had wood plantation shutters installed from another company almost 30 years ago and the shutters had yellowed over the years. I spoke with Shantel and she quickly provided a quote on the service and said they could also do some minor repairs as some of the slats had become loose. I also made a request to have the Benjamin Moore 'Simply White' paint colour so that the shutters would match our wood trim colour and Shantel said this could be done for the additional cost of the paint. We just picked up the shutters today and they look brand new and are amazing! Thank you for the great service - and thank you to Shantel who was great at organizing the whole process. We have some additional shutters to be repainted and I know where I will be going to get this done.

Paint peeled after 9 years, told it is due to water damage and no warranty repair. From the warranty certificate, the finishing of the wood panels has a 15 years warranty. In the same certificate, the warranty is voided due to damage by water. From those pictures, the question arises that what kind of water will be applied to the panels to cause these damages? And everything around has no water stain, no water damage. The only thing reasonable is the manufacture is using this as the excuse not to fulfill its warranty. So be careful, don't be fooled by the certificate. It can't serve you when it should.

I had shutters done for the whole house a few years ago. They still look new to this date!! Very happy with the job done. Wayne is a pleasure to work with, very friendly and answers any questions that you may have.I highly recommend them.

Inconsistent paint job. Crooked install. I was told that these shutters are normal. (See picture). Owner Chris denies it and says it's impossible" for it to be crooked. He said he would replace the crooked shutters. Not sure how this would be done without seeing it.Also

Craftsman Shutters did my entire house and did an amazing job! Wayne came out, measured and answered all of my questions thoroughly and explained anything I didn't understand (I have many curved and large complicated windows). The finished product looked clean, smooth and brightened up my entire house. I have already recommended them to friends and family and will continue to do so!
